It's extremely fast and does an excellent job of cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It can vacuum carpeted rooms fast and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and hallways in just one pass. Its 8,000pa motor is able to pick up dirt, pet hair, and even droppings with ease. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it detects rugs and the dual side brushes help to clean debris from corners.

The mopping performance, while still impressive, isn't as impressive. The mop's rotating motor spins at a high speed and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, easily scrubbing up dirt and staining. I've noticed that the front arm protrudes out a little more than other robots. This is useful when getting into difficult corners or on baseboards. Those same front arms can be used to clean larger pieces of debris, such as broken toys and books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot vacuums best mops and vacuums I've tested. It is quieter and doesn't produce more noise when vacuuming or mopping. The X1 Omni is the most expensive robotic vacuum that is able to mop in our review, but it has some unique features that are worth taking into consideration. The X1 Omni's most appealing feature is its huge dock which serves as the Robot vacuum Cleaners best's charging base and the housing for two 4 liter water tanks, a clean sink as well as an automatic 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically eliminates.

The base comes with a few control buttons, which allow you to manually start cleaning tasks and then recall the robot or run the dock's automatic emptying procedure. The X1 Omni isn't able to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming mode during the cleaning process. You'll need to manually swap between the two modes, which isn't a big deal apart from the fact that the mopping pads haven't been cleaned and dried between use which could lead to mildew or mold.

On the positive side the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who dreamed up its modern, sleek base and mopping pad. It's a big departure from the utilitarian, all-black bases used by competitors like Roborock and iRobot and a pleasing sight in a space that is dominated by clunky, boxy units.
