1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combinations on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set schedules and alter the behavior of the S1.
When I tried the S1, it was quick to map our downstairs, which has Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, as well as carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It easily drove close to walls without crashing into them and even managed to cross thresholds for rooms that are raised without problem, although it sometimes struggled to get down the stairs in one step. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and raised itself when it reached carpets or rugs.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills the water tank with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock adds an extra-deep cleaning solution to the water. The S1's water tank can hold enough for about 12 cleaning sessions before it needs to be empty, but this can vary based the amount you use the mop.
The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to wash out the dirty tank to avoid it becoming blocked. You will also need to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. But, overall the S1 is easy to maintain, especially compared to other models which require more effort to maintain.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs All-in-one robot vacuum and mop is an efficient solution for cleaning. Its robot vacuum boasts 8700Pa of suction and comes with numerous innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that eliminates obstructions and cleans furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor, instead of simply moving the pad across it. Mops can also be dried and cleaned at the base station, if required.
This robot combo is easy to set up and use, with a clear interface that walks you through the procedure. It also comes with a hand-vacuum that can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are also two water tanks that can be automatically emptied or refilled. It also comes with a variety of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a great vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction that is able to effortlessly remove dirt and other debris that other robots have trouble with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty good, although it can be stuck on small area mats and rugs in my home (which you can alleviate by defining virtual boundaries in the app). The mopping capabilities are quite impressive, and comes with a pair of spinning mop pads that actually lift and scrub the floors, as opposed to just dragging the pad over it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the basestation whenever required. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when required.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, getting rid of both large and fine debris. It works equally well on hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned the most filthy areas well, and avoiding tangled pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping performance of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush which automatically swings out in order to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and mop pads that extend across baseboards.
Its navigation system is intelligent, navigating narrow spaces and climbing stairs without missing a beat. It can move from one room to another without changing direction it is a useful feature for larger homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than some competitors, however, and tends to leave a wide margin around obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
The app features a simple, intuitive interface that should be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also adjust the suction power, mop settings as well as view 3-D and 2D maps. It can be operated via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri and allows you to monitor its progress from any location. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. 4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum can do a fantastic job of removing dirt and debris however, it's not able to get every last piece of dust. It's essential to clean your home often, at least once a week. This is particularly important for dust that builds up in corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mop, is made to accomplish this. It's easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network, and integrates with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your cleaning routine.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's cheaper since it doesn't come with mopping capabilities and comes with a plastic body.
The Q5 is one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping robots we've seen at this price, despite not being able to clean your floors. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It also comes with a smart app that lets you set your floor type and schedule cleanings, and an
automatic vacuum and mop water tank refill and wash system for hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive with 2700Pa of power to take on dirt, dust and pet hair on hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested to not have problems with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it was able to not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising as it doesn't contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
