Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations that are applied.
For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more marketable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll a purchased item like armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced with an identical item, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. They don't preserve the original level of the item and any money wasted aren't rewarded.
The surviving players can acquire Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of the equipment that could include increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment in three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power increases the damage done by melee and weapons while spell power improves mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a better quality. To produce them, you'll need a higher-quality token for rerolling. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces the reroll marker stays on the space until the next success result is to be rerolled. This helps to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the beginning of every preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by pressing on them. Once they are open they show a complete description and icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.
In the end, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls, and those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones that increase the level of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. They can also be purchased by players who sign daily contracts.
To upgrade gear, players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click on the "level up" button. The screen will show a summary of the item's level, and what it will become when it is upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone.
After selecting the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, they can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be raised in level by a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item, the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and will not impact the longevity of the item. This is an excellent choice for those who want to gain an advantage in combat, but don't want to burden their wallets. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded item to the new gear.
For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to obtain these stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition players can also cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that lets players increase the stats of their weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be consumed and the
item upgrading will receive a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is attained.
Items with upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be applied to more than one item at a time. Each upgrade component will require a certain number of items and a minimum level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the first is where players can put in equipment that needs to be upgraded, while the right shows a preview of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Once a player has enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option of upgrading. Once a piece of equipment reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to provide an attribute bonus or extra effect when the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be swapped with new ones. However, this can cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain stats on weapons and armor that they currently have equipped. The requirements to
upgrade item an item differ based on the type of item however, you'll usually require Dilithium along with a number Upgrade Tokens.
Item upgrade components can be slotted into equipment sets and weapons for additional effects or to increase the level of the item. These upgrades can come from many sources, including crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade element is placed in an item it can't be removed and changed without restriction, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped out without restriction.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can enhance the stats of the item.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Some items are better off being upgraded less for their increased stats and more for the fact that it allows players to gain the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by the melee PvP communities and can be worth as much as 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.
When you select an upgrade component to be inserted into an
Best item upgrade, the game will display a pop-up window that shows the necessary requirements. These include the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) and the tier of the item and the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will be updated to show how close to completing the upgrade. You can also track the status of an
item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
