Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece and sometimes even its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations can be applied.
For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb function in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll an item you have acquired like a weapon, armor or rings. This allows you to swap the item for another similar item with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. They don't maintain the original equipment's condition and any money wasted aren't rewarded.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests, or purchased from the store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of a piece equipment, for example increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll equipment with three categories: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage of melee and weapons attack, while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a better quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker for rerolling, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces, remains on the space till the next Success is rerolled. This is a way to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of every preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they will display an image and description of the Ingredient or Appliance. The restaurant's shop can exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item's levels and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an
item upgrading will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, he can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be upgraded in level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can last between a few seconds and minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is completely risk-free and does not affect the item's durability. This makes the system an ideal way for players to get an advantage in battle without putting stress on their accounts. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new piece of gear.
The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for players who are new to the game. There are many ways to acquire the stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition, players can take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an optional feature that lets players increase the stats of their weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It is achieved by combining an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will use up the upgrade components and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the
item upgrader kit a boost in the area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is reached.
Items with upgraded stats will have an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, cannot be applied to more than one item at the same time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a specific amount of items to be used, as well as an initial amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add items to be upgraded. On the right, a preview shows what the gear looks like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once a player has sufficient materials will start the upgrading process.
A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Every time the
Best item upgrade is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum level, it will no longer have the option to upgrade. When a piece of equipment attains a certain
upgrade items track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that is able to be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an additional benefit or bonus when the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be changed with new ones. However, this could destroy the old upgrade.
Requirements
Upgrades to items enable players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item will vary based on the type of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
Item upgrade components can be incorporated into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide extra effects or a higher quality item. These upgrades can be gotten through a variety of sources in the game, including through crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been placed into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can improve the item's statistics.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" on the other hand, increases weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get an exact roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by melee PvP communities and could be worth up to 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will add an item in your inventory when you've met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how close you are towards getting the upgrade completed. You can also track the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
