Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized with an app that can save maps of your home setting cleaning schedules, and choose mopping modes. You can also adjust the suction power, and the amount of water your mop uses.

A mapping function helps your robot navigate around rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid running over furniture, wires or even stray toys. These are must-have features in my house, filled with toys scattered around.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, comes packed with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and raise its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It can also see and avoid obstacles, with the ability to identify pets, plants and other small objects.

The robot vacuum's maximum suction power is 6,600 pascals. This is more than any other robot vacuum we've examined to date. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can apply constant pressure to the pad that is more than 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also has mop lifter technology that lifts the pad automatically as it changes between tile and laminate or hardwood flooring, as well as carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means you can just set it and forget it, only needing to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard vac- and mop-settings for about 160 minutes before it started to run out of power and returned to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids I've tested.

This is a very complete and robust product, with the only downside being the fact that it's expensive. But, the sheer number of features makes it a tempting choice for anyone looking to ditch their old stick vacuums and mop. If you are able to justify the hefty price tag, we highly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its robust features, which include a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mops. It also has an app-based controller that is smart and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is among the highest robotic vacuum and mop combos on the market. In my tests, it performed admirably across the entire home. It was able to remove 98.4% debris on all types of floors and was able to lift hair that was long without getting caught up in. The mops also performed well, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion and an incredibly strong cleaning solution.

The L10S Ultra's real highlight is its multifunctional docking station. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank to enable mopping, and dries its mop pads for you. It also comes with a real-time hazard detection system and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions using its smart controls.

Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops I test The L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. The mops in the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant smells, the base station, dustbag, and water tanks must be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads which are bought separately will need to be replaced periodically too.

With the L10S Ultra's high-end pricing and its extensive features I would highly recommend it to anyone who has the budget for it. If you're on a budget I would suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best robot mop and vacuum you could buy, its high price and ongoing maintenance would make it more an option than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that can clean up dust and dirt on your floors while taking care of wet messes, then take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered mop and robot vacuum best vacuum combo comes with an impressive suction force of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery that can be used for both mowing and vacuuming and top-quality obstacles-avoiding. It even comes with a roller mop that cleans itself as it moves and makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-cleaning to wash off the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller is nearly the entire width of the robot vacuum that vacuums and mops, and it gets a constant supply of clean, ozonated filtered water from the dock. While it spins the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro dumps dirty mop water in its base station where it is sucked by the tank's heater elements, and then it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The onboard tank is able to hold a large amount of water, and can handle up to half a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.

Like many robotic vacuums and mop combos, the S1 Pro is ready to roll out from the box. It will need to be filled with clean water, however this is easy to do within the cleaning dock. If you want to use your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to dock. However, if you do choose to use this feature you'll need to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your own cleaning products.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map a room, and it was able to navigate around furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a few times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my testing however this could be fixed when the software is upgraded. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum, and it still has some amazing features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot mop's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks, and washing and sanitizing mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system is able to clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is perfect for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.

The app that runs the appliance is quite extensive, and provides many options for customizing the cleaning process. You can manually initiate a full map and clear everything that's been mapped by the device, or you can select individual rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've created. There are many mopping options that include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors on the mops to find the most efficient way to clean your home while it maps the space.

Like the other Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system is efficient in locating rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized way. The 'Normal" pathing settings cover the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot hazards such as thick carpets, but it may not always detect small things like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

One of the biggest flaws of this machine is the lack of a mop-after-vacuum option that could be a problem for people who do a lot of vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot. There's a good workaround: the app includes an option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This lets you utilize the vacuum's mopping capability to eliminate the last remnants of dust and debris that you've left behind from your vacuuming. It's a nice addition and can help the robot make its clean better than its competitors with lower prices.
