Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and MopIf you're looking to tidy up mess fast and efficiently, a robot vacuum and mop is the way to go. The best robot vacuums and mops that I tested had great mapping and navigation. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds as well as tangled wires.
You can also schedule cleaning chores using an app and track their progress.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combo. It has the latest features. This model of the highest quality is swift and agile, picking up debris like hair from pets and human hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It comes with a sleek application interface that includes an interactive map of your home and buttons on the screen to allow manual control.
The S8's Dirt Detection Technology allows it to change the cleaning mode in accordance with the amount of dirt. It will stop and wash its mopping pad more often when it encounters dust while prioritizing carpeted areas to be mopped with a damp pad.
The mop's roller has a number of other smart features, including docks that can be connected to your home plumbing system to clean and wash it without needing to refill the mop. You can also use voice commands with the built-in voice assistant that can be activated by saying "Hey Rocky" to specify room cleaning, modes, and granular controls with your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those who want a hands-free robot vacuum that can also mop. It's one of a variety of robot vacuums that also include mops however it's priced at a lower price than most of the competition.
As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get started. This involves establishing an account with the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. After that, however the
robot vacuum cleaner is able to begin mopping and vacuuming with ease.
It's worth noting that the mapping process takes a while and may take a few times before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. The object detection feature is an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles but it was stuck on a looser rug with tassels, and required a flip to release itself. These are minor issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for a cleaning companion that does everything.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubbers. This results in floors being cleaned and not just swept. The
automatic vacuum and mop stick that can be detached is an absolute game changer that can reach areas where robot vacuums can't.
This model is essentially identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an a bit higher suction capacity of 8700Pa, and a few additional intelligent features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home and offer an adaptive obstacle avoidance. The smart app lets you modify the settings of your choice, including scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the
robot cleaner with mop vacuum and mop return to their charging station at the end of each job to clean their pads, empty the dust bins, and place the debris into a self sealing bag. This helps keep the system clean and prevents allergens from returning to the system. The battery life is long enough to remove large areas without the need for a charge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the top-quality robot vacuums and mop models that are available, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the price. It is equipped with powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotary floor brush for carpets and a fantastic obstacle-avoiding. It also features an unique mopping method that uses a roller constantly misting with water to capture dirt, and then dump it into the dirty water tank.
Its navigation technology performed well, navigating close to walls without falling and avoiding steps. However, it had trouble with fine engrained debris and was not always able to remove raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise is also high, so it may be less of a set-and-forget model than other models.
Like many robotic vacuums and mops, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that lets you refill its clean water and empty its dust bin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors according to a routine schedule. You can manage all of its functions via the Eufy app. It provides an overview of the system and plenty of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra
robot vacuum that mops vacuum/mower is one of the best mowers and vacuums available on the market. It offers impressive vacuuming and mopping results. The LIDAR mapping sensors can detect furniture legs, obstacles and other obstacles with decent precision. The application allows users to adjust the map coverage, set up no-go zones, or modify their cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush is designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it. This can be an issue for many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N downward pressure. The mopping system also incorporates intelligent carpet detection, which lifts these pads upward when they're in proximity to soft surfaces, preventing them from contaminating them with.
The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance center, automatically washing and drying the mops before refilling them with water and detergent. The base station also comes with integrated dust processing that compacts dust over 7 weeks of maintenance-free operation, unlike conventional robot vacuums which empty their dust bins each time they need to be cleaned.
6. S10
This robot is only a few hundred dollars more expensive than the S8 and does an excellent job of keeping my office tidy. It also has the ability to reach all corners of my tiny apartment. It uses a laser mapping camera and laser to create a 3D model of your home, so it can know what to stay clear of. And, unlike many vacuums that can mop it also has detection of objects and obstructions that avoids items such as dog toys and bowls (but not poop!).
It also comes with other notable features, like a self-emptying dustbin, a mop pad that's self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching brush that can get to areas other mops miss. You can also set your own cleaning schedule within the app and adjust settings for every room in your home.
It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and can differentiate between carpets and laminate with high-pile rug. If you're looking to cut down on time, it can even avoid mopping rooms that aren't dirty. If you have a variety of flooring in your house and don't want to spend more money on a Roborock with advanced mapping capabilities this is a great choice.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that is able to handle regular maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes, this little robot is an excellent choice. It has a wide range of features including self-emptying dustbins, a separate water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings in the app. It's surprisingly quiet and is able to easily move around furniture legs or socks. It's unable to pick up the tangled tassels of a rug, and its battery drains quicker than other models we've test.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a beast that provides powerful suction and convenient automation, all in a sleek and stylish. It didn't score quite as well in our mopping and mopping tests like the expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however, it did extremely well overall. It comes with a variety of cleaning options, ranging from the low power 'Quiet mode' for light debris to the more powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It can even be programmed to automatically remove and reattach its mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used in smaller spaces. It's quick and quiet, and it can navigate tight spaces well. It is also very good at removing pet hair off carpets.
It's smaller than its rivals however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be programmed to take pictures of every object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as "not located', so that they won't be removed in future cleanings. The photos are encrypted and not tied to you account.
It is capable of vaccuming but isn't as effective at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes you clip onto the bot's bottom, and it essentially drags them around the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal with water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mophead.
