You can also set up cleaning schedules within the app and adjust the settings for each room in your home.

It has the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and can differentiate between laminate and carpets with high-pile carpets. It can also skip cleaning rooms that aren't clean if you want to save time. It's a great choice for those who have a variety of flooring in your home and aren't looking to spend the extra money for the Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking for a flexible robot vacuum and mop that is able to manage regular maintenance and touch-ups for messy messes that are wet, this robot is a good option. It has a range of features such as a self-emptying dustbin and a separate dock for refilling water, and customizable settings via the app. It's surprisingly quiet, and it's able to maneuver around furniture legs and socks effortlessly. However, it can't remove the tangled tassels of rugs and it's battery drains faster than other models we tested in our tests.

With a price tag of less than $250 and less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly device that packs powerful suction and useful automation into a sleek. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests of vacuuming, but overall it did quite well. It comes with a variety of cleaning options, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet mode' for light debris to the incredibly powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It can even automate the removal and reattachment of mop pads without causing your carpets soaked.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for those who live in small areas. It's quiet and quick, and it does a great job of navigating tight spots. It's also extremely effective in removing pet hair from carpets.

It's smaller than its rivals however, it doesn't compromise any features. It has a decent amount of suction power and it's possible to take photos of any object it picks up (i.e. chew toys or socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found in the app, so that they aren't taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are encrypted and not tied to you account.

It does a great job of vaccuming, but it isn't as good at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bot's bottom, and then drags them across the floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
