It's also a bit flaky when it comes back to the charging station after the course. Other robots can follow the wall or trace the previous route however, the RX3 is a mess until it gives up.

We also experienced issues with the intelligent features of the device, namely its mapping feature and digital stay-out zones. While it did a decent job of keeping away from our furniture legs and shoes but it could easily be hung up by socks and cables, and it was not able to manage the tassels of carpets. That's the reason we didn't choose to include it in our Best Buy list. With a decent price and a dazzling performance The Scout RX3 is worth considering if you're looking for an alternative to the traditional uprights.
