What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The item upgrader adds an additional widget at the top of both the Angel and Cash Upgrade Windows. This Manager is a cost of 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no gameplay benefit other than making it easier to purchase upgrades.

It boosts

There are a myriad of boosts available with an item upgrader. These could include stats, as well as extra bonuses. These bonuses can be utilized on weapons, armor and trinkets. Costs

There are a few expenses that are associated with upgrades to items. The first cost is the upgrade itself. This cost depends on the item's new ilvl and the number of perks it gains, and can be expensive. It can also be expensive to upgrade item an item to a higher level (such as Explorer > Champion, or Veteran > Heroic).

The second is the cost of the materials needed for an upgrade. These items are typically Power Dices (dropped from monsters 21+), Minerals and Erons or a specific Mists Of Pandaria or Warlords Of Draenor Quests. These materials can be found in the inventory of an Upgrade Vendor.

Success Rate

An Upgrade Pity is a product you can buy from the smithing NPC in Lost Ark. It increases the odds of a successful upgrade by some percentage. It is similar to the "luck bonus" that certain items provide, but it is more solid. This can be added to any weapons or armor and can be used three times.

You can also add additional components to the upgrade to increase the chance of success. These are shown in a window that is above the + button. There are however limitations to this, and the maximum amount of material that can be added is displayed just above the + button in the user interface.

A Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it, can be used to increase the odds of a successful upgrade. This item is helpful when you own a weapon or piece of equipment that is at the highest level for its tier or is close to it. It will let you upgrade that piece of equipment to the next level without risking it breaking.

If an upgrade is unsuccessful it will be restored to its original condition. This is typically an error, but it can also be a downgrade. It is recommended to save an upgrade when you are close to the maximum level of an item, and use it as a last resort.

There are several items in the Kafra shop that can be used to increase the likelihood of an upgrade succeeding. You can increase the chances of success by upgrading equipment several times using HD Oridecon and HD Elunium. Similarly, enhancing the chance to receive a Double Mint from Shoe-Minting a maximum of five times will also increase the chance of success.

Failure Rate

The upgrader for items allows players to add a second slot to their equipment. These slots can be used to apply an enhancement or enchantment to an item. It is important to keep in mind that not all items are upgradeable. The enchantment and upgrade rate is based on the item's rank.
