The item upgrader is an additional widget at the top of both the Angel and Cash Upgrade Windows. This Manager is priced at 33 billion Angel Investors and offers no benefits to gameplay other than making it easier to find and purchase upgrades.
It boosts
There are a variety of boosts available with an item upgrader. They can include a range of stats, as well as a number of extra bonuses. These bonuses can be applied to weapons, armor, and trinkets. They can be used to improve a character's abilities or to give a new dimension of variety to their appearance.
The World of Warcraft upgrade system allows players to upgrade their equipment by paying currency to an item upgrader. This system first came into play in Mists of Pandaria, and continued with Warlords of Draenor. It's a good method to boost the level of your gear, allowing you to avoid the tedious grind of questing and avoid numerous wipes in Mythic+ dungeons.
When an item is upgraded its basic type will change. The upgrade of a normal
item upgrade creates an Exceptional
item upgrader kit while upgrading an item that is Exceptional will result in an elite version of the base item. The item will keep all of its pre-upgrade statistics however it will also get an additional bonus due to its new base type. This bonus is randomly selected. It could be a weapon that has an increased damage range, an increased speed of reloading, or increased max defense roll.
The amount of extras that you gain when upgrading depends on the amount of upgrades done. Each upgrade boosts the additional benefits by increments of 1, up to a maximum of 3. In addition, each upgrade will also increase the main stat by one.
Some upgrades also provide additional random boosts in addition to stat increases. These boosts can be extremely valuable and must be considered when choosing which items to upgrade. Some of these boosts can only be used in specific builds (such the Whistan's Shield in FB Sorcs), while others are beneficial to collectors.
Certain items come with a built-in boos that is not effective when upgraded. For instance the Goldwrap has an extra potion slot. These are usually upgraded to add more value to a near-perfect or perfect item.
Costs
Upgrades come with a few associated costs. The most significant cost is the upgrade itself. This price is contingent on the new ilvl of the item and the amount of perks it will gain, and can be expensive. It can also be costly to upgrade an item to a better tier (such as Explorer > Champion or Veteran > Heroic).
The second is the price of the materials needed for an upgrade. These items are typically Power Dices (dropped from monsters 21+), Minerals and Erons, or specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor Quests. The amount of these materials required can be seen in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.
It takes time to upgrade an item. It can take up to 8 hours depending on the size of an upgrade. The stats that are the base of the upgraded item are calculated based on the new ilvl as well as other properties. This calculation determines new Armor Class bonuses, damage dice, as well as other important statistics. In some instances the upgrade will provide additional advantages that can be picked from a variety of advantages.
Rarely, the advantages gained will cost more than one perk slot to acquire; in these situations the upgrade will replace the highest-cost perks. Occasionally, the upgrader will make other modifications to an item, for example, changing the type of weapon damage or adding or removing an unwieldy or operative property. The cost for these changes is based on the new ilvl of the item, and it may require a specific material, such as an adamantine alloy.
Success Rate
Item upgrades are based on a chance, and like any random system, there is the possibility that the upgrade will fail. However there are a few factors that can increase the chances of success. This includes using an Upgrade Pity or the addition extra materials to your upgrade.
An Upgrade Pity is a product you can buy from the smithing NPC in Lost Ark. It increases the chance of an upgrade's success by some percentage. It is similar to the luck bonus some items come with however it is more reliable. It can be added to any armor or weapon, and can be used up to three times.
You can also add other materials to the upgrade to increase the chances of success. These materials are displayed in a window located above the + button. However, there are some limitations to this, and the maximum amount of material that can be added is displayed right above the + button in the user interface.

If an upgrade fails the upgrade will be reversed to its initial state. This is typically a break, but it can also be a downgrade. It is recommended to save an upgrade when you're close to the highest level of an item, and use it as an emergency.
Kafra offers a variety of products that can be used to increase the likelihood of an upgrade being successful. For example upgrading an item of equipment using HD Oridecon or HD Elunium multiple times will give you more chance of success. Also, increasing the chances to receive a Double Mint from Shoe-Minting a maximum of five times will also improve the chances of success.
Failure Rate
The upgrader of an item allows the player to add a second card slot to their equipment. These slots can be used to apply an enhancement or enchantment on an item. It is important to keep in mind that not all items are upgradeable. The rate of upgrade and enchantment is based on the rank of the item. The higher the rank of the item is, the more Zeny items will be needed to upgrade it.
The system is expensive especially if you're seeking top-of-the-line equipment. Upgrades to armor and weapons can cost as much as 100,000 z or 100 Carnium. The chance of success also decreases as you climb in rank. You can increase the chance of upgrading an
item level upgrade making use of cash shop items.

You must have the correct number of cores to perform an upgrade. Once you have them click the button next to the item you wish to upgrade. The upgrade window will then show a percentage indicator of your chances of success. This percentage is based on the upgrade level of the item and the core kind you have selected.
You can also select a safeguard for your item which will safeguard the item in the event of failure. The cost of this protection can vary however it will always be less expensive than the cost of buying a new item. The safeguard can be used once per upgrade, and it will not expire until it is used again.
The interface for the item upgrader is a little difficult, but it's not difficult to navigate. The main menu is displayed on the left and the upgrade window appears on the right. The arrows to the left of the UI represent the various phases of the upgrade process. If you're not certain what you're doing, you can hit the question mark to get help. The upgrade could take five minutes.
