This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent choice for parents looking for an affordable second stroller for their travels. It was awarded an impressive score in our top single strollers and Multiples test for weight and folded size, which means it's very lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to lift into a trunk of a car or closet. It also has the option of reclining in multiple positions and a cup holder for the parent. Other important features include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels and two large hanging storage bags.

In our test of the push and turn, it did better than the majority of other cheap strollers we test, but it's not the most maneuverable on uneven terrain or through doorways that are narrow. The sunshades are among the smallest we tested, offering only a direct overhead coverage and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have significantly larger canopy sizes.

The seat and carrycot both come with hoods with pull-down UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are durable and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams that can be blown back onto toddlers faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it does have a large basket deep enough to hold a changing bag or plenty of food. The single travel stroller system is also available with the option to add an additional car seat or carrycot by using the adaptors that are included. The brakes are easy to use, using a single stroller for sale color coded and flip-flop friendly.

This budget single pushchair is extremely easy to use and features great dual suspension, one-hand fold, and a handy carry strap. It's also super lightweight and sturdy. The seat can be reclined in many positions and comes with a built-in double breathable mattress that's suitable from birth.

The canopy/seat has two extra-large fixed or flip-out sun visors. Both are UPF50+. However the toggle closure isn't perfect it's not as quiet as Velcro and may wake napping babies.

The Duet is a stroller that can be used side-by-side and can be set up to take twins or siblings (up to 22kg maximum per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and even works with some carrycots. In twin-mode, the seats can be positioned to face one another or be turned around to face parents, theoretically cutting down on sibling disputes over who gets to sit with dad and mom.
