Upgrade components
Upgrade components are things that can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to provide a bonus or extra effect when the equipment is used. They can be purchased from players or vendors, scavenged or gotten as rewards, or created using crafting materials. Alongside providing attribute bonuses, upgrade items can also have cosmetic effects.
Infusions, inscriptions, as well as enhancements are all types of upgrade components. They are generally not available for general use and are only available to ascending equipment or certain non-ascended weapons from the Factions campaign. You can recover infusions or inscriptions, as well as enrichments from your equipment using an Extractor Device or by salvaging them using a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or an Ascended Salvage Tool.
Unlike other upgrade items Phoenix Boxes, unlike other upgrade items, can be traded even while still attached to the item that they are upgrading, and they can be reused after being reclaimed. These upgrade items are the
Best item upgrade option to boost weapon and armor quality without spending Dilithium because they can increase the odds of receiving an upgrade by two times.
An upgrade component in an item can be replaced with another but it is not able to replace the previous one (except for upgrades of legendaries and equipment with ascended levels). Upgrade components can only be added to upgraded items with an identification level of zero or higher. When you upgrade an item that is already equipped with a prefix or suffix upgrade will display the name of the new item as it would appear in the game (for instance adding an Radiant Insignia to Canthan Armor will cause it to be named Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). A player can only own three upgrade items [

Glyphs
Glyphs can be a valuable accessory to any item since they provide many unique advantages and boosts. Some Glyphs increase the number of affixes an item has, increasing its effectiveness. These glyphs can be found through dungeons, and some be found in certain World Tier 3 areas. However, it's important to note that glyphs can't be used on a character that has not been able to create a root dungeon of the same depth.
In order to use a Glyph, you must first create it using components and connect them to anchors. The component will then automatically align with other components or paths within the same layer. If you do not want to create the glyph using components, you can employ an array of anchors and paths. Drag an element in the direction of the component that is highlighted to snap it in place.
Certain glyphs have requirements to satisfy, like having 25 Dexterity or more in a particular area on the Paragon Board. Some also require a certain number of Primary Stat nodes to activate, which can be difficult to attain. Certain glyphs have a radius that grows with each level.
Glyphs can be applied to a variety of items and weapons, except for those belonging to a specific class. Some of these glyphs also require conditions for instance, having a certain number of dexterity or attack damage in a specific area on the Paragon board.
The Defend Glyph has a 5% chance to deflect attacks from enemies. It also has 15% chance to make the Hero vulnerable for two turns.
There are also a few glyphs that can be added to tools with limited-use capabilities like the Black Lion Chest or Trading Post. These glyphs contribute to the Combat Mechanic Achievement.
The most popular glyphs are the attack glyphs which boost the ATK substats of Artifacts with a flat value. These glyphs are especially beneficial for classes that rely on ranged weapons, such as Warriors or Rogues. Other glyphs include the Exploit Glyph which makes enemies who strike the Hero vulnerable to being damaged.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens can be used for rerolling a result rolled during an Action. When the reroll occurs the tokens are then discarded. Reroll tokens can be obtained in a variety of ways, such as through the dungeons, raids and skirmishes. They can also be purchased in the store or from other players. They are especially useful in dungeons and trials, because they allow players to reroll the rewards from the end chest.
For items that are at level 1 there are recycling points. If an
item upgrade is recycled it will add a specific amount of points to the gauge of upgrade. This value scales according to the item's level and rarity. In addition, the upgraded item won't retain its level when rerolled and the cost of recycling an upgraded item rises with the level of the item.
It is also possible to make use of reroll tokens to roll an item. However it will not restore the item's original stats or levels. This is useful for players who want to reroll a product they don't like and want to keep it in their collection.
Three different types of upgrade coins are available in the game: reroll, randomly generated, and upgrade. Each type comes with a variety of subtypes. For example, reroll tokens are available in three levels: enhanced, rare and legendary. Each level requires an item from its respective level in order to create a new
item upgrade of that level.
To make use of reroll tokens right-click on the Satanic or Angelic item in inventory and select "Reroll Token". Then, select a kind of token. The available tokens include Item, Weapon, Misc, 1hgun, 2hgun and Focus. Using an Item token will result in the creation of a new Item of any quality. A Weapon or Misc token can create a new weapon belonging to the same faction.
The item may also be upgraded to a different item with the same stats but a higher level. This is likely to occur if the item has been placed in the Pool that is not droppable, or if it was transferred to it as part of an franchise card.
