World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

The item upgrade feature allows players to upgrade their existing equipment. This can be accomplished by any item upgrader NPC.

Armour

Upgrade components are a mixture of ingredients that you are able to slot into weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and other items to earn an attribute bonus. Certain objects with enchanted properties have special abilities that allow the character to cast spells that are not in their class list. This is helpful for characters who have difficulty filling their spell slots because of multiclassing. These enchanted items generally require an Intelligence (Arcana) check to use them, and the spell cast is determined by rolling on an array of tables based on the number of Intelligence points used.

Other items that are enchanted can allow the user to alter their appearance, or even create a completely new one. These items are especially useful for characters who were forced to leave their home or are located in an area where they may not be welcome. A magical item can give them the ability to disappear or make them invisible for anyone, excluding the person they choose to.

Utility Items

Utility items are those that don't fall into the categories of clothing, armor or Weapons and offer various capabilities. Utility items aren't compatible with each other, in contrast to weapons or armor. Most utility items have an effect that the player can activate by using them, but some also have additional capabilities that are activated when the user presses a button or activates an ability.

The Flashlight is the most commonly used utility item. It is used to illuminate the area around it. Other utilities include the Helicopter Hat and Rocket Boots, which allow the player to float in the air while moving and the Jetpack which allows players to accelerate in any direction while on the ground.
