Samsung Fridge Freezers With SmartThings
Samsung's Family Hub refrigerator combines a 389 litre fridge with a 225 litre freezer. It's a huge American-style model with quality temperature control and a dazzling slate of features that are smart.
It's customizable thanks to removable panels, so you can design one that is perfect for your collection of tie-dye Crocs and matte black Rick Owens clothing.
All-Round Cooling
Separate cooling circuits in fridges with All Round Cooing help keep your food fresher. In conventional fridges, one Evaporator cools the freezer as well as refrigerator compartments. This can result in your food drying out because the low-humidity air from the refrigerator is pumped into. This can make them taste bland and unpleasant.
With All-Round Cooling, each shelf level has multiple vents that circulate cool air. This allows for an even temperature even when you close and open the door of your fridge.
Optimal Fresh zone keeps meats and seafood fresher up to two times longer than in conventional refrigerators without freezing. This feature is an absolute game changer for anyone who loves cooking but hates the hassle of thawing frozen meat or fish.
All Round Cooling uses an All Round Cooling metal cooling plate at the back of the refrigerator to keep cold air and stop its loss when you open the door. It also reduces the need for power-defrosting which saves time and money.
Samsung refrigerators have one of the best ice dispensers we've tested. The patent-pending Twist Ice Maker dispensing large cubes can be dispensed by an easy twist and can be stored below the fridge when not being used. This allows for more shelf space, and allows you to easily locate your preferred snacks and drinks.
You can decide how your freezer and fridge open with Reversible Doors. This lets you easily integrate your fridge within the kitchen layout while keeping your fridge neat and tidy.
samsung electronics refrigerator's Family Hub is the central control for your SmartThings-connected home. It has a large touchscreen that is mounted on your
refrigerator samsung models. It will show you a live video feed of your smart doorbell. It can also order groceries with an automated inventory or suggest recipes based on what's available in the shelves.
Samsung
refrigerators samsung feature flexible drawers on the bottom, which are an intelligent storage solution. They allow you to store taller items, like pizza trays or cans of drinks. They can be turned over when not in use, and folded flat to save space. This is an excellent option for those who are passionate about cooking and baking, but have limited refrigerator storage space.
FlexZone
The Samsung FlexZone side-by-side fridge freezer comes with a unique three-zone design that lets you add an extra refrigerator compartment or freezer drawer to your set up. This flexibility lets you personalize your fridge freezer according to your storage needs and requirements. The FlexZone module allows you to upgrade your fridge to a bigger or smaller size by incorporating an extra FlexZone.
The stylish design of the fridge will fit in with any kitchen decor. The stainless steel finish of the fridge is sleek and sturdy. Plus, it is coated with an anti-fingerprint to keep the exterior of the appliance looking brand new. The fridge also has an extra water and ice dispensers for additional convenience.
It's a stylish fridge with the bottom-right FlexZone compartment that can be converted from freezer to refrigerator. This provides extra freezer space for items like ice cream bags of frozen veggies and fish or meat. It also performed well in our tests, however the 21.5-inch touchscreen's superfluous applications and lack of SmartThings and voice control integration feel like missed opportunities.
There's plenty of room to store food items in the refrigerator's other drawers with two drawers for crisps and a flexible middle FlexZone drawer. The latter lets you select from five different settings for the fridge's freezer drawer, based on your needs. These include the freeze setting that is compatible with the freezer settings and an option for a soft freeze setting on wine or deli tray, a meat and fish setting as well as the beverage setting for drinks, snacks and frequently accessed items.
This Samsung FlexZone side by side refrigerator is ideal for families who want to have a fridge and freezer in one unit. It's not as spacious than the top-of-the-line French door models, however it offers a lot of useful features and is a great alternative for those who have limited space in their kitchens.
Samsung Fridge Freezers are very energy-efficient thanks to their digital inverter technology. This technology regulates the temperature inside the fridge, so that it doesn't fluctuate too much, and helps keep your food fresher for longer. Its energy efficiency has earned it an ENERGY STAR certification.
SmartThings
SmartThings may not be as effective as Alexa or Google Assistant, but you can still add a lot more smart devices to it. It's also built into Samsung smartphones televisions, tablets, and tablets and some refrigerators. It could be enough to justify it for some, particularly when you own multiple Samsung products.
The SmartThings app is pretty refined and well-rounded, with a 'if x then y' automation section that works surprisingly well. You can set up things such as an alarm that goes off when water sensors detect flooding or turn on the light when your phone senses that you're in your home. It can even control your refrigerator by connecting it to a smart plug though we've had mixed results with that.
SmartThings requires a hub which isn't cheap. Samsung offers a range of options, including the SmartThings Station that you can connect to an existing router and use it as an nightlight. There's also a cheaper SmartThings Hub Dongle that supports Z-Wave and Zigbee and Thread with support to be added soon.
Once you've connected your smart refrigerator to your smartphone and hub, it's very easy to use. The SmartThings app lets you manage your fridge from anywhere with notifications sent to your phone whenever it's opened or closed. You can create schedules to set the temperature, and even create reminders.
SmartThings is an early member of the Home Connectivity Alliance, which is trying to make major home appliances from a variety of manufacturers interoperable. In the future you can control your Samsung washer/dryer, Electrolux oven, and LG TV from the same app.
While it's not as widely supported as Alexa and Google Assistant, SmartThings does have some big names on its roster, including Arlo, Nest, Belkin and Lifx. It's also compatible with Matter, which allows for accessories to connect regardless of brand. The most effective option for users is to combine Alexa and Google Assistant.
Family Hub
A fridge freezer can't get much more modern than this: it's equipped with an LCD display of 21 inches inside the door, along with a host of clever features. Bixby, Samsung's voice-activated assistant, allows users to access entertainment apps, take notes for family (think of it as a large digital version of the notepad stuck to the refrigerator) and check the weather forecast and more.
The touchscreen can also be used to manage your food items and recipes, with the option to add ingredients directly from a recipe app and see what's in your fridge through internal cameras. You can also make an inventory list of items on the go and monitor food items to determine when they'll expire. You can even use a dedicated recipe app that will give you instructions while you cook.
This is the second generation of Family Hub fridges and Samsung claims it has spent a year adjusting them to the needs of customer feedback. You can now create different profiles for every family member to allow them to customize the information and apps that they have access to. It's not as effective as Alexa integration into your fridge, but it's an improvement over the model of last year.
Apart from its features for entertainment and grocery management, Family Hub also acts as controller for electronics samsung refrigerator -

Samsung's fridge has been around for a few years now and, while it still offers a fair bit of functionality, the touchscreen smarts aren't an essential feature for the majority of people. These are more of a fun and somewhat frivolous addition than anything else.
That might change as more software updates are made available, but for now these models are best suited to those who want the most complete connected fridge they can get. You can save money by buying a model without the Family Hub if you're not one of those people. If you own a variety of smart home devices you need to manage from a single screen, or you like the idea of a refrigerator with a huge touchscreen, it could be worth the investment.
