WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader
Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases the
item upgrader kit level by +3. A random additional substat is also added to each upgrade.
The more modernized gear generally has a higher trade value regardless of whether it has low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or very high stat variance (like the eth titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the need to roll to get a perfect version.
Recycle Points
The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item that is used for the upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be used to create the enchantments.
You can upgrade your equipment at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended to visit the upgrader once every few weeks to ensure that your equipment is up to date.
The cost of upgrading will depend on the current level of the gear being upgraded however, they will always be cheaper than buying new equipment from other sources. For example, upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to 385 levels will cost 20 recycle points, while purchasing the same item from another player will costs 105.
Valorstones
Upgrades are functional items which can be used to improve the quality of weapons and tools, armor and accessories. They can be purchased through NPCs who sell upgrades to item owners for various currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be applied to any weapon, tool or armor. button, which will display an item's preview at the next upgrade level in the event that the player has enough materials.
The upgrade cost depends on the slot of the item and the current item level and the weapon's price is higher than gloves or bracers, for example. Each step costs 15 Flightstones and a few crests, with some upgrades having a discount to lower the cost of Flightstones or crests used. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain level, it can be degraded and sold back to the upgrader for a lower amount of both currency types.
Many locations offer item upgraders in addition to the main island and a few outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade coupon and the chance to obtain a new recipe. The discount on upgrades increases depending on the amount of items being upgraded. It can also be boosted by having players complete specific achievements or quests.
Icewind Dale does not have an
item upgrader at start unlike Cromwell from Baldur's gate II. The NPCs who are able to facilitate upgrades are only available through a variety means. This is both a benefit and a drawback.
In Season 3 the upgrade system was altered a bit, with several new features added. After the player has upgraded to a specific level for an armor slot, upgrading other items to the same level, will cost less. This is even if the items come from a different set of gear.
The amount of Valorstones needed to upgrade is reduced and the discount is available across all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests needed for upgrades is reduced also, but is only available once certain milestones are reached.
Crests
Players have a number of options when it comes to upgrading their gear in WoW. Flightstones are an item that is available to everyone who wants to upgrade. Crests are more specialized and are utilized during specific item level upgrade (
please click the following website) level upgrades. Crests are the main component of the Dragonflight gear progression system that was introduced in 10.1 and are available in 4 ranks.
The first thing to remember is that crests are only able to be used on gear of a specific rank, and each rank has its own requirements for upgrading. The simplest and simplest upgrade route costs 15 crests while the most complicated may require as many as 20 crests based on the type of gear that is being upgraded.
Players can earn crests through working through content that is of the appropriate level, which involves walking around and engaging in outdoor activities for gear of lower tiers, raids or dungeons of all difficulties for higher-tier items or Mythic+ dungeons or heroic raid bosses for gear that is used in the endgame. The crests can then be exchanged with an upgrader for the item, such as Cuzolth or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to upgrade the item in the proper steps and routes.
The new currency system isn't too difficult to use, but it will bring some changes to the upgrade process. For instance, once a piece of equipment reaches the highest
upgrade item level of any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic) it will no longer require Flightstones to be upgraded. This change lets players
upgrade item their gear to the highest possible ilvl for all their characters rather than relying on seasonal loot.
It's also essential to use crests with care, since they have only one purpose. It is best to put your Whelpling-rank Crests on the best gear that you can find and save Drake and Wyrm Crests to be used for the next set of upgrades. This is especially relevant for items like trinkets and rings that fill several slots. The discount on the account will only be applicable if all slots on the character are filled with top-quality equipment.
