What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?
A transparent device that can make certain Pokemon species change. It was produced by Silph Co.
The item upgrader adds a new widget to the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. This Manager costs 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no gameplay benefit other than making it easier to buy upgrades.
Increases the effectiveness of
With an item upgrader you will be able to enjoy numerous bonuses. These could include stats as well as extra bonuses. These bonuses can be incorporated into weapons or armor, as well trinkets. The amount of upgrades you perform will determine the amount of extras you receive. Each upgrade will increase the extras in question by increments of 1, up to a maximum of 3. Each upgrade will also increase the main stats by +1.
Certain upgrades also give additional random boosts in addition to stat enhancements. These boosts can be quite useful and should be taken into consideration when deciding which items to upgrade. Some of these boosts can only be used in specific designs (such a Whistan's Shield for FB Sorcs) While others are valuable to collectors.
Certain items come with inherent boos that are less useful when upgraded, such as the Goldwrap that gives you additional slots for potion. They are usually upgraded to inject more value into the perfect or nearly perfect item.
Costs
There are a few expenses associated with item upgrades. The first is the upgrade itself. The cost for this upgrade can be costly and depends on the new value of the item and the number of perks it receives. Upgrades to higher levels (such as Explorer to Champion or Veteran to Heroic) are costly.
The second is the price of the materials required to upgrade. The items used are typically either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21+) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable by completing certain Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests). The amount of these items needed can be found in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.
It takes time to upgrade an item. It can take 8 hours, depending on the magnitude of the upgrade. The base stats of an upgraded
item upgrading are calculated based on the new ilvl and other characteristics. This calculation determines the latest Armor Class bonus, damage dice, and other important statistics. In some instances the upgrade can grant additional perks that can be selected from a list of available advantages.
Rarely, the new perks acquired will cost more than one perk slot to acquire In these cases the upgrade will replace the most expensive perks. Sometimes, the upgrader will make other changes to an item, like changing the damage type of a weapon or adding or removing an unwieldy or operative property. These changes are based on an item's ilvl, and may require special materials, for instance the adamantine.
Success Rate
Item upgrades are based on the chance of success, and as with any random system there is a chance that the upgrade won't be successful. There are several methods to increase your odds of success. This includes using an item upgrade -
related resource site, known as an Upgrade Pity, or the addition of additional materials to the upgrade.
An Upgrade Pity is an item you can buy from the smithing NPC in Lost Ark. It increases the chances of an upgrade being successful by a certain percentage. This is similar to the luck bonus some items have however it is more stable. It can be added to any weapons or armor and is used three times.
You can also add other materials to the upgrade to increase the chance of success. They are displayed in a window that is above the + button. There are however limitations to this, and the highest amount of material that can be added is shown directly above the + button in the UI.
Another method to increase the chances of a successful upgrade is by using an item called Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item is useful if you have an item or weapon equipment that has reached the maximum level for its tier, or is close to it. This item will allow you upgrade the equipment to the next level without risking its breaking.
If an upgrade is unsuccessful it will be restored to its original state. This is typically an error, but it could also be an upgrade. It is an excellent idea to save upgrades for when you are close to the highest level of an item, and use it as a last resort.
Kafra has a range of products that can be used to increase the chance of an upgrade succeeding. For instance, upgrading a piece of equipment with HD Oridecon or HD Elunium multiple times will provide you with a higher chance of success. The success rate will also be increased if you increase the chance of getting a Double Mint by Shoe-Minting five times.
Failure Rate
The
item upgrader allows players to add an extra card slot into their equipment. These slots can be used to apply an enhancement or enchantment on an item. It is important to remember that not all items can be upgraded. The enchantment and upgrade rate depends on the rank of the item. The higher the rank of the item is, the more Zeny items will be needed to upgrade it.
This kind of system can be expensive, particularly for top-of-the-line gear. Upgrades to weapons and armor can cost as much as 100,000 z or 100 Carnium. As you advance in rank, your chances of success diminish. However, you can use cash shop items to increase your chances of completing an upgrade efficiently.
Normal Upgrade is the most basic upgrade that can be done on armor pieces, weapons and bikes. It consumes different grades of core, depending on the kind of item. In general, items with lower grades will require cores of lower quality while items with higher quality will require higher priced ones.
You must have the right number of cores before you can perform an upgrade normally. Click the button next to the
item upgrader kit you want to upgrade after you have the cores. The upgrade window will display a percent indication of your chance of success. The percentage is based on the
upgrade items level and nature of the item you have selected.
You can also choose a safeguard that will protect your item in the event of failure. This protection is not free however, it will cost less than a new item. The safeguard can be used only once each upgrade, and it is not a valid expiry date unless it is used again.
The UI for the item upgrader can be somewhat difficult to navigate, but it's not impossible to navigate. The main menu is displayed on the left and the upgrade window on the right. The arrows on the left of the UI indicate the various steps in the upgrade process. If you are not sure what you're doing, hit the question mark to get help.
