This is the most expensive of the three models I've examined, however, it's also the most feature-packed. Its sleek and angular design is striking and only has three physical buttons which include the power button which also resumes cleaning; a mop-only button that doubles as a child lock and a home button to return the robot vacuums with mop to its dock. The hinged lid can be opened to reveal a 350ml trash bin and 200ml tank of water. The water tank is automatically filled and the bin fills up automatically.

The only drawback I could find in this model was the VibraRise mop pads mount is not removable. You can change the mopping cloth if required, but it's not easy to remove the mount for manual washing. I've noticed that any plush carpet that the robot passes will come into contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener mechanism on the mount, and that can cause scratches.

The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a number clever features, including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You can manage and set up these via the Roborock app, which is also the home of its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app lets you schedule cleanings and track battery life. However, you'll need to jump through a few hoops in order to enable voice control on this model which is unfortunate considering the quality of its performance.
