The Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 is a Supercapacitor Hybrid
By Lamborghini standards, the Sian FKP 37 is a wild car. It's also among the first hybrid production cars to use the supercapacitor.
The Sian is powered by a 34-hp emotor which is integrated into an automatic manual gearbox that can reach 80 mph. Then, the V-12 is in charge. This system helps to make the car more efficient and allows it to accelerate instantly.
Forged Composites
The Sian's hybrid system has a different trick in its sleeves it's a supercapacitor. It's capable of charging faster than lithium-ion batteries and the car can run for up to 63 minutes using only electric power.
Lamborghini's forged composites could be the crucial element to this. The material could eventually be used in production cars. It begins as a piece of uncured plastic, which is then mixed with random lengths of carbon fiber strands. It's not as beautiful as pre-woven sheets of carbon fiber that are coated with resin, but it's a lot more lightweight and stiffer.
To bring the forged carbon fiber into shape, the operators simply cut off the correct amount of mass, place it in a hot press mold and squeeze it under the heat. It takes just a few minutes when it could take up to hours to create the same piece with traditional methods.
It's unclear if we'll ever see structural forged composite parts in production vehicles, but Lamborghini claims its manufacturing-friendly nature means that the material may eventually be used in cheaper products. It's certainly expensive enough already however, if the manufacturing process can be accelerated it could reduce costs in terms of both materials and labor. Forged composite is also more flexible than woven carbon fiber and engineers can make intricate shapes without astronomical costs or weight.
Carbon Skin
The Lamborghini Sian has a futuristic, sleek design that maximizes aerodynamic efficiency. Its long, sculpted contours and distinctive aero wings give it an impressive silhouette and its low front and carbon fiber splitter integrated increase stability. The Y-shaped headlights and hexagonal shapes as well as the hexagonal shapes, which are Lamborghini classics, further enhance the vehicle's distinctive styling. The interior is a combination of luxurious Italian craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology. The driver's seat and dashboard are covered in a distinctive material called Carbon Skin, which is adjustable thanks to the Ad Personam program.
The hybrid system from Sian is powered by supercapacitors that combine the power and efficiency of an electric motor with a battery that's 48-volt lithium. Its rapid-fired torque fills in the gaps in acceleration while its regenerative brakes refuel the battery. The Sian can travel further with one tank of gas.
Comparing it to a standard lithium-ion battery, Sian's supercapacitor comes with three times the capacity and recharges in only 63 seconds. It is also lighter and more compact. The supercapacitor is located in the bulkhead which separates the engine compartment from the cabin provides power to a 34-hp motor that is mounted at the rear of the automatic transmission.
The Lamborghini Sian is based on the Aventador SVJ, which means it has the same earth-shattering V12 engine as the Aventador. It also has the same chassis and suspension and the same four-wheel drive. But the Sian's unique hybrid powertrain is its main selling factor.
Ad Personam
Lamborghini Huracan Car Key has developed its first hybrid
car key lamborghini using the Sian. It's a bold statement. The latest creation of the raging bull uses supercapacitor technology in order to bring the power-to-weight ratio back to earth without diminishing its amazing V-12 engine.
Ad Personam is a program that allows Lamborghini to design and build vehicles specifically for its most loyal customers. This includes everything from leathers exterior and interior finishes, as well as specific paint colors that must meet the brand's strict quality standards.
A complete specification sheet can be downloaded online. A consultation can be scheduled either at the Sant'Agata Bolognese headquarters or via a virtual studio. The virtual studio was designed to ensure that customers from all around the world could receive a custom-designed spec from the team, without the need to travel to Sant'Agata.
The name Sian is the Bolognese word for lightning, and it's an acknowledgement of
lamborghini aventador svj key's heritage and its future. The alphanumeric suffix FKP37 honors Ferdinand Karl Piech. He was the one who introduced Lamborghini to the Volkswagen Group and died just prior to the debut of Sian. Only 63 models were made, and they are all sold out.
Specs
The Sian is an homage to the Aventador SVJ, so it packs the same V12 and the same chassis and suspension. However,
Lamborghini Key fob it adds an electric motor that is small to make it a hybrid. It can run on electric power at lower speeds and use the gasoline engine for acceleration when necessary.
The supercapacitor can be found in the bulkhead that divides the cabin from the engine compartment. It's three times more powerful than a battery of the same weight and three times lighter. The system recharges on the move via regenerative braking, so it doesn't need to be connected to an electrical grid. The emotor helps fill the torque gap in the upshifts, so that the car can move 10 percent faster than it would without it.
lamborghini centenario key claims that the design of its hybrid Sian is designed to convey an open top feeling of raw energy. The exterior is a mix of carbon fiber and orange paint, while the roof is a glass section inspired by the Periscopio on early Countach prototypes. Other highlights include aluminum detailing that is painted in Oro Electrum. This is the color Lamborghini uses for its hybrid cars.
Inside the Sian features a cockpit designed by Lamborghini's head design, Mitja Borkert. It's a bit more wild than the usual Lamborghini with a lot of creases and cutouts. It's close to getting to the point of looking absurd, but it's an eye-catching car. The driver is seated behind a tin-free steering wheel with enormous paddle shifters, and the infotainment display has an orientation of vertical.
