Titration

A highly experienced psychiatrist consultant will conduct a thorough assessment of your ADHD. This includes an examination of your medical history as well as an assessment using the common ADHD rating scales and questionnaires.

It is important that parents participate in the titration process and be on the lookout for their child's behavior so that they can let the doctors know if the medication is helping or causing adverse reactions.

If you decide to return to NHS treatment and have decided to return to NHS care, your medication will be issued with a private prescription which you'll need to pay for at the pharmacy (this is not included in the consultation fee). You'll need to keep up with your appointments every six months to monitor your medications. This includes blood pressure and pulse measurements. Annual reviews are also mandatory.

Follow-up appointments
