It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that will stay clear of things like dog bowls and toys (but not Poop) unlike most vacuums.

It has other great standout features, including the self-emptying dustbin, a mop pad that's self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching brush that can reach places that other mops can't reach. You can also alter the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.

It features the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and is able to distinguish between carpets and laminate with high-pile rugs. And, if you want to save time, it will avoid mopping rooms that aren't dirty. It's a great option for those who have a variety of flooring in your home and do not want to invest the extra money on the Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that is able to handle both regular daily maintenance as well as touch-ups to messy messes that are wet, this robot is a good option. It's smaller than many of its competitors however it doesn't sacrifice features. It has decent suction power and can be configured to take pictures of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys) and mark them in the app as "not found' to ensure that they are not taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are encrypted and aren't tied to your account.

It is capable of vaccuming, but it isn't as good at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bottom of the bot and drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal, which have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
