However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a tempting alternative for anyone who wishes to get rid of their old stick vacuums and mop. If you can justify the price we strongly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. Its price is justified by its powerful features, which include a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mops. It comes with an app-enabled smart control system and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combinations out there with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all types of floors and able to lift long hair with no knots. The mops also performed well and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models due to their rotational motion and a strong dose of cleaning solution.

The L10S Ultra's most significant highlight is its docking station that is multi-functional. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank to enable the mopping function and even dry its mop pads for you. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its smart controls allow you to schedule regular cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer the best robot cleaner performance in removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid mop I tried. The mops in the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it requires regular maintenance. Its base station has to be cleaned as well as the dustbag and water tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried regularly to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads, which are purchased separately, are required to be replaced periodically too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. The software that runs the appliance is extensive, and provides various options to customize the cleaning robot mop and vacuum process. You can manually clean every area that is mapped by this device or select individual rooms, zones that can be expanded, or a routine you've developed. There are several mopping options which include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors on the mops to find the most efficient method to clean your home while it maps the space.

The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, just as all Roborock models that we've tested. Its navigation system works well in locating rooms quickly and cleaning in an organized way. Its 'Normal" pathing settings cover a room well, without any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well too, but it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets that are thick, but it may not be able to identify smaller objects like rug tassels and electrical wires.

One of the biggest flaws of this machine is the lack of a mop after vacuum option which could be a problem for people who spend a lot of time vacuuming prior to cleaning robot mop and vacuum with their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy alternative: the app has the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This lets you utilize the mopping function of the vacuum to remove the last traces of debris and dust left behind by the vacuuming. It's a nice touch and can help the robot clean up a little bit better than its less expensive competitors.
