The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with a docking system that allows it to replenish its clean water, empty the dustbin as well as dry and wash the mop, and then empty its mop pad. It has the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and is able to distinguish between laminate and carpets, with high-pile carpets. It can also avoid cleaning rooms that aren't dirty if you're looking to reduce time. It's an excellent option if you have a mix of flooring in your home but aren't looking to spend the extra money for a Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is an excellent choice when you're seeking a flexible robot that can perform regular daily maintenance as well as touch-ups to messy water stains. It has a wide range of features including the ability to empty the dustbin on its own as well as the water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings within the app. It's extremely quiet and is able to easily move around furniture legs or socks. It's smaller than the majority of its rivals, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has good suction power and can be set to take photos of each object it picks (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys) and mark them in the app as 'not located' so that they are not picked up again during future cleanings. The photos are encrypted and not tied to you account.

It does a fantastic job of vaccuming but isn't quite as efficient at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes you clip onto the bottom of the bot, and it essentially drags them around the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal, which have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
