Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customised using an app that can save the maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and select mopping options. You can also adjust the suction power, as well as how much water your mop uses.
A mapping function can help your robot navigate around rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid running over wires, furniture, or stray toys. These features are essential in my home, which is full of toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, comes packed with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and even lift its brushes or mop pads so that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It also can avoid obstacles by finding pets, plants, and other small objects.
The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested up to now. It is also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation, which tracks its location, preventing it from getting stuck on a surface.
The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad at over 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also has an automatic mop lifting mechanism, which will lift the pad as it moves from tile to laminate hardwood, carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding getting soaked by these soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be washed and then dried with the dock and the dust container is automatically empty and returned to it. You can set it up and forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank or replace the dust bag on occasion.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop and vac-settings for about 160 minutes before beginning to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids that I've tested.
This is a very well-rounded and capable product, with the only drawback being that it's pricey. The sheer amount of features makes it a very attractive option for anyone looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. We would highly recommend this vacuum if you can justify its cost.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra
robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. The premium price is justified by its robust features, such as a huge vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop heads. It has an app-enabled smart controller and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it was able to perform well across all areas of the home, removing 98.4% of debris on all types of floors and able to lift long hair without knots. The mops also performed well, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement as well as a strong dose cleaning solution.
However, the L10S Ultra's main highlight is its multi-functional docking station. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank to enable mopping and dries its mop pads for you. It also comes with a real-time hazard detection system and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions with its intelligent controls.
The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tried. Additionally the mops aren't adept at removing staining that is as strong as those in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's many high-end features, it still requires regular care and maintenance. Its base station needs to be cleaned as well as the water and dust tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried on a regular basis to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. It is also important to remember that the mop pads which are purchased separately, will need to be replaced periodically too.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. For those who are on a budget, I would suggest a less basic model that will allow you to save money while enjoying hands-free cleaning at home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the
best robot vacuum cleaner and mop robot mop and vacuum you could purchase, its high cost and frequent maintenance will make it more of an item to have than one that you actually need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you require to get rid of messes and get rid of dirt from your hard floors. This powerful robovac and mop combo packs an impressive suction force of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery capacity to power both mowing and vacuuming, and top-notch obstacle-avoiding. It even has a roller mop that cleans itself while moving, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-clean to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. Its roller runs almost the entire length of the bot and is constantly dosed with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Any dry debris is removed using the side brushes or swept into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump dirty mop water into its base station where it is sucked by the heater elements of the tank and emptied into a larger storage container. The tank onboard can hold a good amount of water and can handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.
Like most robot vacuums and mop combinations, the S1 Pro is ready to roll out from the box. It will need to be filled with clean water, however this is easy to do by cleaning the dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you opt for this option however, you'll need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands, allowing you to use your choice of cleaners.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, as did the majority of robots. It was fast to map a room, and it was able to navigate around furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a couple times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my testing, but this may be rectified when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that has lots of features at a reasonable cost.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum. However, it has some outstanding features. Its multi-function dock drains the
robot vacuum cleaner best's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it moves. The mopping system can be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is great for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.
The software that runs the appliance is quite dense, and offers various options for customizing the cleaning process. You can manually clean every area that is that this device maps or select specific rooms, zones that can be expanded, or a routine you've created. There are several mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the sensors on the mops to determine the most efficient way to clean your home while it maps the space.
Like the other Roborock models we've evaluated The Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system is reliable, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized way. Its 'Normal" pathing settings cover the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too although it's not as advanced as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like thick carpets but may not be able to detect smaller objects such as electrical wires and rug tassels.
The machine has a major flaw: it does not offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who regularly vacuum before using their
robot vacuum cleaner. There's a simple solution: the app has an option that allows you to "clean up" at the conclusion of each session. You can use the vacuum's mopping functions to remove the dust and traces that are left behind after vacuuming. This is a great feature that lets this vacuum clean a little better than its less expensive competitors.
