1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations on the market. It uses lidar for navigation making maps of rooms and floors.

When I tried the S1, it was quick to locate the downstairs area, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, plus carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It was capable of driving up to walls and even cross thresholds that are raised without issue. However it had some issues navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did a great job of cleaning hard floors by dragging its mop smoothly on the flat side against the floor, and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or rug.

Prior to each mopping session the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills the water tank onboard with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water for deep cleaning. The S1's water tank holds enough water for about a dozen cleaning sessions before needing to be cleaned, although this will vary depending the amount you use the mop.

The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. It is necessary to regularly wash out the dirty tank to keep it from becoming clogged. You will also need to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to avoid them getting clogged up with dirt or dust. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs' all-in-one robotic vacuum mop cleaner robot and mop is an effective solution to your cleaning needs. The robot vacuum is rated at 8,700Pa of suction and offers a number of unique features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that avoids obstacles and cleans around furniture. Its mopping capability is impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor, rather than simply dragging the pad across it. The mops can be cleaned and dried at the base station when needed.

The robot vacuum cleaner best comes with an easy-to-use interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum which can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot can't reach. There are two water tanks that are automatically emptied or refilled. It also has a range of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, with strong suction that easily removes all kinds of debris, including the smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also decent, but it can be stuck on small mats and rugs around my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). The mopping feature is pretty impressive, and comes with a pair of spinning mop pads that actually lift and scrub floors instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station whenever needed. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station as needed.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year and their new flagship model of robot vacuum and mop has even more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is simple to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the best automatic vacuum robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure an efficient, custom-designed clean is completed.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing fine and large debris from both hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests well while avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping capability of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush which automatically swings out in order to get into areas that are difficult to reach and mop pads that extend across baseboards.

Its navigation is intelligent that can navigate small spaces and negotiating stairways without skipping a step. It is able to move from one room to the next without needing to reverse the direction. This is a great feature for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance technology isn't as advanced than other models however, and tends to leave a wide space over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.

Despite losing the ability to wipe your floors, the Q5 still has some of the most impressive mopping and auto vacuum and mop performance we've seen on a robot in this price range. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system so you don't need to empty the bin by hand each time. It comes with a smart application that lets you schedule cleaning times and determine the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling system and washing system that is hands-free.

Its mops are also awe-inspiring with 2700Pa of power to tackle dirt, dust, and pet hair on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots we tested to not have problems with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it could not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise as it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we've tested. It also has a unique method to map your home. This really helps it get into corners and tight spaces that other vacuums can't reach. This device also has the larger bin, meaning that you don't need to empty it as often. It also has washable filters, which further reduces costs. The robot can also recognize carpets and increase suction if required. The app allows you to mark areas that you want it to stay clear of and is a great feature.
