Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized with an application that allows you to save maps of your home as well as set cleaning schedules and select mopping options. They also let you change suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.
A mapping function helps your robot navigate through rooms. A feature to avoid obstacles prevents it from running over furniture, wires or other toys. These features are crucial for my home filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and vacuum, so it's a natural choice to be with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and can even raise its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, with the ability to spot pets, plants and other small objects.
The robot vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is higher than any other robot vacuum we've tested to date. It is also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its position, which prevents it from getting stuck on an object.
Its mopping functionality is also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad for a deep clean. It also features an automatic mop lifting mechanism, that will raise the pad when it transitions from laminate to tile hardwood, carpet and rugs to avoid getting soaked by these soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad is capable of rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it up and forget about it. You will only need to replenish the water tank or change the dust bag every now and then.
All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I used it on its normal vac and mop settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and return to its base for a recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids I've tested.
This is a very well-rounded and capable product, with the only drawback being the fact that it's costly. But its abundance of features makes it a tempting option for anyone who wants to get rid of their old stick vacuum and mop. If you are able to justify the hefty price tag we strongly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line mop and
best robot vacuum and mop vacuum. Its high-end price is justified by its powerful feature set, which includes an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mops. It has an app-enabled smart controller as well as an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is one of the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combinations available. In my testing it did very well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all floor types and managing to lift hair that is long without getting caught in. The mops also performed admirably, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement as well as an effective dose of cleaning solution.
However, the L10S Ultra's main selling point is its innovative docking station that is multi-functional. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, fills its water tank for mopping and dry the mop pads for you. It also comes with a real-time hazard detection system and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions using its intelligent controls.
The L10S Ultra does not offer the
best automatic vacuum performance in removing carpet debris when compared to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tried. Additionally the mops aren't adept at removing stubborn stains as those found in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it requires regular maintenance. The base station must be cleaned as well as the dustbag and water tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried on a regular basis to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads sold separately will also need to be changed periodically.
Given the L10S Ultra's premium pricing and its extensive features I would recommend it to anyone with the funds for it. If you're on a tight budget I suggest a more basic model that will allow you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the
best robotic mop and vacuum robot mop and vacuum you could buy however, its cost and frequent maintenance would make it more an item to have than one that you actually need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you require to tidy up mess and remove dirt from your hard floors. This high-powered mop and robovac combo packs an impressive suction force of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery capacity for both vacuuming and mowing, and top-notch obstacle-avoiding. It even has an automatic mop that cleans itself as it goes, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-cleaning to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot and is continuously filled with clean, ozonated water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Dry debris is picked up with the side brushes, or swept away into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump dirty mop water into its base station, where it is sucked up by the tank's heater elements and it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The onboard tank is able to hold a large amount of water and can take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.
Like many robotic vacuums and mop sets The S1 Pro is ready to take it out of the box. It does need to be filled with clean water, but this is easy to do within the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock if you prefer to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you decide to use this feature however, you'll need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution, which is more costly than other
robot vacuum that vacuums and mops brands that allow you to use your choice of cleaning products.
As with most robots that are available, the S1 Pro did well in accuracy in navigation and coverage tests. It was quick to map a area and was able to navigate around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with thick piles a few times during my tests. However, this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very powerful
robot vacuum cleaner uk that can be bought at affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum, but it still has some outstanding features. The dock's multi-function function is emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a good bit of a space before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's high suction does a nice job of removing debris and pet hair from carpets.
The app that runs the appliance is quite dense, and offers various options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean every area that is mapped by this device or choose individual rooms, expandable zone, or a routine you've developed. There are many mopping options that include SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the sensors on the mops to determine the most efficient way to clean your home while it maps the space.
Like all Roborock models we've tested The Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system is robust, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a neat fashion. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does a great job of covering a space, with no major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too although it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets with thick padding, but may not be able recognize smaller items such as electrical wires and rug tassels.
This machine has one major issue: it doesn't have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: The app offers an option that allows you to "clean up", at the end of each session. This lets you utilize the mopping function of the vacuum to get rid of the last remnants of dust and debris that you've left behind from your vacuuming. It's a nice feature, and it helps the robot clean up a little bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
