However, it struggled in the presence of carpets with a longer pile and also some long, thick messes of dried-on debris.
The S1 Pro is ready to be used right from the moment you purchase it, and it only needs just a few minutes of mapping to learn about your home. Once it's done, the map is displayed in the app and rooms can be added or joined depending on the need. You can also set virtual boundaries as well as no-go zones or no-mop zones in case there's something you don't want the robot to be able to touch.
