Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized with an application that is specifically designed for. You can save maps of your home as well as create cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.
A mapping feature aids your robot navigate around rooms while an obstacle avoidance function will stop it from hitting furniture, wires or stray pet toys. These are essential features for my house, filled with toys that are scattered about.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, is loaded with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and lift its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It can also avoid obstacles by spotting pets, plants, and other small objects.
The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other
robot vacuum cleaner best vac we've tested to date. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation to track its location, preventing it from getting stuck on an object.
Mopping capabilities are also impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad for a deep clean. It also has mop lifter technology that will lift the pad automatically when it transitions between tile and laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be rinsed and then dried with the dock and the dust bin will get emptied and automatically returned to it. This means you can set it and forget it, and only need to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank occasionally.
All this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal mop- and vac-settings for about 160 minutes before it started to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is on the same level as other hybrids I've tried.
It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only issue is that it's expensive. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very appealing option for anyone who wants to go away from their old stick vacuum and mop. If you can afford the price, we highly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. Its high-end price is justified by its powerful feature set, which includes an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mop mops. It has an app-enabled smart control system and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop sets available with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it was able to perform very well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all floor types and managing to lift hair that is long without tangling. The mops also performed admirably, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement and the powerful cleaning solution.
The docking station is the main selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The dock emptys its dustbin into a dirt bag, refills its water tank to enable mopping, and dry its mop pads for you. It also has a real-time hazard detection system and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions using its smart controls.
The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance compared to the other hybrid vacuum mops I tested. In addition the mops aren't capable at scrubbing away tough stains like those in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's numerous premium features, it requires regular maintenance and care. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water and tanks must be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads which are bought separately must be replaced regularly too.
With the L10S Ultra's high-end cost and robust features I would recommend it to anyone who has the budget for it. If you're on a budget, I recommend a more basic model that lets you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's important to remember that even the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can find however, its cost and constant maintenance will eventually make it more of a wish than a need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're in search of a robot vacuum and mop that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors, while cleaning up wet mess then take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combo is a mighty 8,000 Pa suction power. It also has an enormous battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. And it is equipped with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It has a roller-mop that is self-cleaning and makes it stand out from models which require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller is almost the entire width of the
robot hoover and mop, and it gets a constant supply of clean water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Any dry debris is picked up with the side brushes, or swept away into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements and is poured into a larger storage container. The tank onboard can hold a good amount of water, and can take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box, just like most other
robotic hoovers vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro needs to be refilled with clean water. This can be done using the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to dock. If you decide to use this feature however, you'll be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow users to select their own choice of cleaning solutions.
As with most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map a room and it was able to navigate around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my tests, but this may be rectified when the software is upgraded. The S1 Pro is a very powerful
robot vacuum cleaners uk that can be bought at a reasonable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level vacuum and mop, but it still has several impressive features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing the mop pads as they go. The mopping system is capable of cleaning up a significant portion of an area before returning to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction is capable of picking up debris and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.
The app that runs the appliance is quite extensive, and provides various options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean all areas that are mapped by this device, or select individual rooms, zones that can be expanded, or a custom routine you've designed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mops to map out the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.
The Qrevo performed well in our tests, like the other Roborock models that we've tested. Its navigation system is efficient by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning them in a well-organized manner. The default pathing setting is excellent at covering a room, with no gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too, though it's not as advanced as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as thick carpets but might not be able to recognize smaller items such as electrical wires or rug tassels.
This machine has one major flaw: it does not include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who
autonomous vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. You can use the vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the last traces and dust that are left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice addition, and it helps the robot get rid of a bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
