Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized with an application that allows you to save the maps of your home setting cleaning schedules, and select mopping options. You can also alter the suction power and fine tune the amount of water and the scrubbing action of your mop.
A mapping function can help your robot navigate through rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles prevents it from running over wires, furniture or even stray toys. These features are vital in my home that is filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and vacuum, which is why it is naturally with features. It's able to sweep and mop in one session, and it can even lift its mop pads and brushes to stop soft surfaces from becoming damp. It also can avoid obstacles by spotting pets, plants, and other small objects.
The maximum suction power is 6,600 pascals. This is more than any other robot vacuum we've examined so far. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.
The mopping function is impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in deep cleaning. It also features an automatic mop lifting mechanism, which lifts the pad as it moves from tile to laminate hardwood, carpets and rugs to prevent soaking these types of soft surfaces.
Additionally, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be rinsed and dried in the dock, and the dust bin will get emptied and automatically returned to it. You can set it up and forget about it. You only need to refill the water tank, or change the dust bag every now and then.
All this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal mop and vac-settings for around 160 minutes before it began to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids I've tried.
It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only issue is that it's expensive. Its sheer number of features make it a very attractive option for anyone looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. If you can justify the hefty price tag we recommend you check this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its robust features, which include an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mops. It also includes an app-based controller that is smart and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop sets available with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it was able to perform well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all types of floors and able to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed admirably, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was due to their rotational motion and a strong dose
cleaning robot mop and vacuum solution.
However, the L10S Ultra's main selling point is its innovative multi-functional docking station. The docking station empties the trash bin into a bag to collect dirt, then refills the water tank for mopping, and even dry your mop pads. It also comes with a real-time safety detection system and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions using its smart controls.
The L10S Ultra does not offer the
best robotic mop and vacuum performance in removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tested. The mops in the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing tough stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station needs to be cleaned as well as the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, empty and dried regularly to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. It is also important to note that the mop pads, that are bought separately, must be replaced on a regular basis too.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're on a tight budget I would suggest a less basic model that lets you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's important to remember that even the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can purchase, its high purchase cost and constant maintenance will ultimately make it more of a wish than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and remove dirt from your floors. This powerful robovac/mop combination is a mighty suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also has an enormous battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It's also fitted with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It has a roller-mop that cleans itself which makes it stand out from models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big contrast to the microfiber pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller covers the entire length of the robot and it gets a constant supply of clean Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. While it spins, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump dirty mop water in its base station where it is sucked in by the tank's heater elements and empty into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard can hold a good amount of water and handle up to half a dozen mopping session before running out.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do other robotic vacuums/mops. It must be filled with clean water, however this is simple to do by cleaning the dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock if you prefer to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you decide to use this feature however, you'll need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands, allowing you to choose your preferred brand of cleaning products.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map out a space and navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a couple of times on longer pile carpets and rugs during my testing, but this may be fixed when the software is upgraded. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers a lot of functionality at an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum, but it still offers some impressive features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks and washing and sanitizing mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system is capable of cleaning a large portion of a space before returning to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction does a nice job of removing debris and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.
The software that runs this appliance is dense, offering a wide choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean the entire area that this device maps or select individual rooms, zones that can be expanded, or a routine you've created. There are a number of mopping options which include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors on the mops to find the most efficient way to tidy your home as it maps the space.
Like all the Roborock models we've examined like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system performs well in locating rooms quickly and cleaning in an organized way. Its 'Normal' pathing setting does a great job of covering a space, with no gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well too, but it's not as sophisticated as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify the dangers of carpets that are thick however it won't always recognize smaller things such as rug tassels or electrical wires.
The machine has a major issue: it doesn't have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who regularly vacuum before using their robot. There's a good solution: the app offers the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. This lets you use the vacuum's mopping capability to get rid of the last traces of debris and dust left behind by your vacuuming. It's a nice touch and can help this
robot vacuums that mop clean up a little bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
