best automatic vacuum Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
If you're looking to clean up mess fast, a robot vacuum cleaner and mop is the way to go. The best robot vacuums and mops I've tested are top-quality in navigation and mapping as well as the ability to remove Cheerios wires, tangled wires and fake dog turds with out leaving them behind.
You can also schedule cleaning chores through an app and monitor their progress.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combination. It has the latest features. This high-end vacuum is fast and agile and picked up pet hair and human dander almost flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also comes with a stylish app interface with a miniature map of your house and a few on-screen buttons for manual control.
The S8's Dirt Detection Technology enables it to alter the cleaning mode according to the amount of dirt. It will wash its mopping pads more frequently when it comes across dust. Carpeted areas get the first priority when mopping with a damp mopping pad.
It comes with a range of other features that are smart too, including an alternative dock that connects to your plumbing to clean and wash the mop roller without needing refilling it manually. You can also use voice commands with the built-in voice assistant, saying "Hey Rocky" to specify rooms cleaning, modes and granular controls with your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking to buy a hands-free robot vacuum that has mopping capabilities, the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible choices. It's one of a variety of robot vacuums with combo features that also include mops however it's priced at a lower price than most of the competition.
Like most robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work to begin, which includes creating an account on the official app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once that's done the robot is able to begin vacuuming and mopping with ease.
It's worth noting that mapping takes a while and may require a few attempts before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate image of your space. In addition the detection of objects can be difficult to determine It was able to skim over furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a looser tassel rug and had to flip its back to release itself. However, these aren't major issues, and the Yeedi Cube is still a excellent choice for those who need an all-in-one cleaning companion.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubbing. This results in floors being cleaned and not just cleaned. The detachable vacuum stick is an innovative tool that can reach places even a robot vacuum cannot.
This model is essentially the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with an increased suction power of 8700Pa and some additional intelligent features. The upgraded RGBD sensor will learn to understand your home's surroundings better and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. The smart app allows you to customize a number of settings, including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping and has both the robot vacuum and mop returning to their charging base after each job to wash their pads, empty their dust bins, and place debris into the self-sealing bags. This helps keep the system clean, and prevents allergens recirculating. Its battery life is long enough to cover large areas without requiring a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the more premium robot vacuum and mop models that are available, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for its price. It features a powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a moving floor brush for carpets, and a fantastic obstacle-avoiding. It also has an unique mopping method which uses a rolling device that is continuously spraying with water to collect dirt, and then dump it into the dirty water tank.
Its navigation system performed well. It avoided stairs and navigated close to walls without crashing. It struggled with fine particles and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating sound level is also very high, which means this model might not be as simple to set and forget as the other models.
As with most robotic vacuums and mops, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can replenish its clean water, empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance simple and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in line with an established schedule. You can control all its functions through the Eufy app, which gives an overview of the system and plenty of configurability.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best mowers and vacuums available on the market. It offers amazing results when it comes to mopping and vacuuming. The LIDAR sensors for mapping can identify furniture legs, obstacles and other obstacles with a reasonable precision. The application allows users to adjust the map coverage, set up no-go zones and alter the cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush was specifically designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it. This is an issue for many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that rotate at 180 RPM while applying up to 12N downward pressure. The mopping system also includes intelligent carpet detection, which lifts the pads up when they're near soft surfaces, preventing them from contaminating them with.
The docking station acts as an automated maintenance center that automatically washes and dry the mops, and refills them with detergent and distilled water. The base station has an integrated dust removal system that compacts dust, allowing seven weeks of maintenance free operation.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars cheaper than the S8 This
robot vacuum cleaners best does a bang-up job at keeping my home office spotless and also tackle the corners of my tight apartment. It utilizes a laser mapping and camera to create a 3D map of your home so that it knows what to avoid. It has an object/obstacle detector that can block things like dog bowls and toys (but not the poop) unlike other vacuums.
Other great features include a self emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing, adjustable to water temperature, and a side-reaching mops that can reach areas that other mops miss. You can also alter the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.
Like the S8 It also has multi-room smart mapping that can differentiate between carpets, laminate and hardwood rugs with high-pile. It also lets you skip mopping rooms that are not dirty if you're looking to save time. It's a great choice when you have a mix of flooring in your home and aren't looking to spend the extra money on a Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
This
robot hoover and mop is a great choice when you're looking for a robot that can do both regular maintenance on a daily basis and touch-ups to wet messes. It comes with a wide range of features such as a self-emptying dustbin and a separate dock for refilling water, as well as customizable settings via the app. It's quite quiet, and it's able to maneuver between furniture legs and socks effortlessly. However, it can't remove the tangled tassels of rugs, and its battery drains a little faster than other models in our tests.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that offers a powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek design. It didn't do as well in our mopping and mopping tests as the much expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however it did very well overall. It also includes a wide range of cleaning modes to meet your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for lightweight debris to the more robust 'Turbo' mode that is ideal for rooms with carpet. It can even be programmed to automatically remove and reattach its mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used even in small spaces. It's extremely silent and fast and it is able to navigate tight spaces efficiently. It also does a very
good robot vacuum job of removing pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than its rivals however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be configured to take photos of each object it picks (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys), and mark them in the app as "not found' to ensure that they won't be taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure and are not linked to your account.
It is great at vacuuming, but it's not so good at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bottom of the bot and drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mophead.
