Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can transform from a single stroller to double stroller by the addition of a second seat or glider board (sold separately). The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection can be configured to be a triple travel system with the addition of an infant car seat. It has 24 configurations in all and is the top-rated stroller. This model is made with Baby Jogger’s soft durable, breathable and sustainably-sourced TENCEL fabrics. They help regulate temperature. It features a premium leatherette handlebar and bumper bar, and comes with the belly bar. It folds 20% smaller than the market-leading single-to-double stroller, UPPAbaby Vista V2, and is also lighter.
It features a medium-sized shade as well as a magnetic peek-aboo window, which is easy to open or close. The telescoping handlebars are one of the most simple to adjust and works well for parents of all heights. The seats recline, and they have an adjustment button for the footwell to allow you to position your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin is spacious with plenty of space, but we would have liked an easier latch. It's easy to reach, but we found the zippers to be a bit difficult to use since they need to be completely undone and refastened every time you use it.
Like its siblings Like its brothers, the City Select has single-action brakes that are easy to set and release with the pull of a lever on the side of the frame that is lower than the handlebar. It is sandal- and barefoot friendly and an improvement over the clunky brake levers other brands use.
This is the only stroller we've reviewed in our review that is able to accept two infant car seats which makes it a great option for twins or for parents with just one child and a new baby on the way. It is compatible with the majority of major brands infant car seats by using an adapter. We tested it on the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models and also the Cybex Aton,
3 wheel stroller set Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It is a great option for families who already have an infant car seat and are looking for a stroller to accommodate it however, you might be better off with another convertible stroller that can accommodate an additional car seat in this case.
