It's heavier than some of the other side-sleepers, but it's fairly mobile and can be moved from room to room with ease. It can also be folded into a travel bag which is a great option when you need to transport it. The kit for conversion to cot (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear directions and everything you require to start. It took us around an hour to assemble, and was relatively simple. The only issue with the instructions was that a few pictures did not have captions. This made it difficult to follow. However, overall it was an easy process and the quality of materials used was excellent.
In the co-sleeping mode, we discovered the Shnuggle Air to be an excellent option for breastfeeding mothers and women who have had a C-section, since it allows them to easily reach out to their newborn to feed and comfort them without having to leave their bed. It's also great for parents who prefer not to go through the hassle of getting into and out of a traditional cot, or putting their baby down to sleep.
