Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and MopIf you're looking to tidy up your mess quickly and efficiently, a robot vacuum and mop is the way to go. The best robot vacuums and mop I tested had excellent navigation and mapping. They picked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, as well as wires that were strung up.
You can also schedule cleaning tasks with an app and monitor their progress.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
If you're looking for the best robot vacuum and mop combo with bleeding-edge features you should look no further than the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This model of the highest quality is fast and nimble and can pick up dirt such as human hair and pet hair with a near perfect accuracy in our Debris Pickup Test. It comes with a sleek application interface that includes a mini-map of your home and buttons on the screen to allow manual control.
Another standout feature is the S8's ability to alter its cleaning mode based on the amount of dirt it encounters thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will pause and clean its mopping pad more often when it comes across dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas for mopping with a damp pad.
It's got a host of other features that are smart also, including an alternative dock that connects to the plumbing in your home to wash and clean the mop roller, without having you to refill it manually. With the built-in voice assistant on the S8 it is possible to use voice commands to control rooms cleaning options and granular control using only your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those looking for a hands free robot vacuum that also has mopping capabilities. It's one of the combinator robot vacuums that include mopping capabilities that are priced lower than competitors.
As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it started. This includes setting up an account with the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. After that, however the robot is able to begin vacuuming and mopping with ease.
It is important to note that the mapping process takes quite a while, and it may take a few tries before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. The object detection feature is an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able to skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but it was stuck on a rug with tassels and needed to turn to get it out of the way. However, these aren't major issues, and the Yeedi Cube is still a great option for those who want an all-in-one cleaning companion.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping feature a rotating motion similar to hand scrubbing, which results in floors that are truly cleaned and not just cleaned. The vacuum stick that can be detached is a game changer that can reach places even a robot vacuum cannot.
This model is essentially identical to the well-known X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa as well as a few additional features that are smart. The upgraded RGBD sensor can learn your home's surroundings better and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. And the smart app lets you modify the settings of your choice such as scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum and the mop returning to their charging base after each task to wash their pads, empty their dust bins and then place the debris in a self-sealing bag. This helps keep the system clean, and also stops allergens from circulating. The battery longevity is sufficient to cover large areas without needing a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the more top-quality robot vacuums and mop models, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the price. It is equipped with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotary floor brush for carpets, and an excellent obstacle-avoiding. It also has an innovative mopping technique that uses a roller constantly sprayed with water to collect dirt and deposit it in the water tank.
Its navigation technology performed well in navigating close to walls without falling and
Robotic Hoovers staying clear of stairs. It had trouble with fine particles and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise is also high, and it could be less of a "set-and-forget" model than others.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with docking technology that allows it to refill its clean water tank, empty the dust bin, dry and wash the mop, and empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors on regular schedules. You can control all of its functions through the Eufy app, which gives a clear overview and plenty of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best mowers and vacuums on the market. It offers impressive results in mopping and vacuuming. The LIDAR sensors for mapping can identify furniture legs, obstacles and other obstacles with reasonable accuracy. The app lets users fine-tune the map coverage, set up no-go zones, and even alter the cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush was designed to stop hair from wrapping around it. This is an issue with a lot of robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads spinning at 180 RPM, while applying up to 12N downward pressure. The mopping system has smart carpet detectors, which lift these pads up when they are close to soft surfaces in order to avoid contamination.
The docking station is an automated maintenance center that is able to wash and dry the mops, then refills them with detergent and distilled water. The base station features an integrated dust processing system that compacts dust, allowing for 7 weeks of uninterrupted maintenance.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars less than the S8 This robot does an excellent job at keeping my home office tidy and is able to tackle the corners of my tiny apartment. It utilizes a laser mapping camera and laser to create a 3D model of your home so it knows what to stay clear of. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that can block things like dog bowls and toys (but not Poop) unlike other vacuums.
Other amazing features include a self-emptying dustbin as well as a mop that's self-washing, adjustable to water temperature and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also adjust the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.
It has the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and can distinguish between carpets and laminate with high-pile rugs. It also lets you skip cleaning rooms that aren't dirty if you're looking to reduce time. It's an excellent option when you have a mix of flooring in your home but aren't looking to spend the money to buy the Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking for a flexible robot vacuum and mop that can manage regular maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes, this robot is a good option. It has a wide range of features like self-emptying dustbins and an additional water refill dock, as well as customizable settings in the app. It's quite quiet, and it's able to maneuver around furniture legs and socks effortlessly. It's unable to pick up knots in the rug, and its battery drains more quickly than other models we've tested.
With a cost of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and useful automation into a sleek design. It didn't score quite as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the much pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra, but it still did very well overall. It has a variety of cleaning modes, from the quiet mode with low power' for light debris to the incredibly powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It can even be programmed to automatically remove and reattach its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent
robot vacuums with mop vacuum and mop
robots that vacuum and mop can be used even in small spaces. It's quiet and quick and does a good job of navigating tight spots. It is also very good at removing pet hair from carpets.
It's smaller than most of its competition however it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be set to take pictures of every object it picks (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as 'not located' so that they won't be taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secured and not linked to your account.
It does a fantastic job of vaccuming but isn't quite as efficient at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that you clip to the bottom of the bot and it basically drags them across your floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal, which come with water reservoirs that automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
