2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the most recent version of Roborock's flagship robot vacuum and mop, is the most up-to-date version. It's not like the model from last year this one has a double agitator in its mopping pad, which significantly enhances its carpet cleaning capabilities. The S8 Pro Ultra also has an improved suction capacity, allowing it to remove fine hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners may be unable to pick up.

As with the other two Roborock models I've tested it also has a 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology which help it avoid furniture, walls and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further and includes a dual-camera that can identify objects, and determine if they are walls or other surfaces. It can then automatically change its path and clean around them without skipping a beat.

It's the most expensive robot I've ever tested, but it also has the most features. Its sleek angular design is eye catching and only has three physical buttons. The power button, which also restarts the cleaning process mop button, which doubles as a child-lock and a home-button that can send the robot vacuum best to its dock. The only issue I have found with this model is that the VibraRise mop pad mount is not removable. I've noticed that any plush carpet that the robot passes will be in contact with the Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, autonomous Vacuum which can cause abrasions.
