Robot vacuum cleaners and mops are a great way to quickly clean up messes. The top robot vacuums and mops that I have tested have top-notch mapping and navigation as well as the ability to remove Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds without leaving them behind.
They're also easy to use using an app that lets you plan cleaning tasks and see what they're doing.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
If you're looking for the top robot vacuum and mop that has cutting-edge features you should look no further than the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This high-end vacuum is fast and agile and was able to pick up pet hair and human dander almost flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also has a smart-looking app interface with a mini map of your home and a few buttons on the screen for manual control.
The S8's Dirt Detection Technology enables it to adjust the cleaning mode in accordance with the level of dirt. It will wash its mopping pads more often if it encounters dust. Carpeted areas are given the first priority when mopping with a damp mopping pad.
The mop's roller has a number of other smart features, such as docks that connects to your home plumbing system to clean and wash it without needing to refill the mop. You can also use voice commands with the built-in voice assistant of the S8 using the phrase "Hey Rocky" to specify the cleaning of your room, modes, and granular control options with your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking for a hands-free
robot vacuum cleaners uk automatic vacuum cleaner and mop that has mopping capabilities the Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile choices. It's one of a variety of robot vacuums with combo features with mops, but comes at a lower price than the majority of competitors.
Like many robovacs Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work to start, including creating an account on the official app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. After that, however the robot can begin mopping and vacuuming with ease.
It's worth noting that the mapping process takes a while, and it may take a few times before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. In addition the object detection is unpredictable and it was able to skirt furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a looser tassel rug and had to turn itself over to free itself. However, these aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube is still a excellent choice for those looking for an all-in-one solution for cleaning.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubbers. This results in floors being cleaned, not just swept. The detachable vacuum stick is an absolute game changer that can reach areas where a robot vacuum cannot.
This model is essentially identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an increased suction power of 8700Pa and other smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor is able to learn your home's surroundings better and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. The smart app lets you adjust various settings that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the mop and vacuum robot return to their charging base at the end of each task to clean their pads, empty the dust bins, and place debris in the self-sealing bag. This helps keep the system clean and prevents allergens from returning to the system. Its battery life is sufficient to remove large areas without the need for the battery to be charged mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a premium robot vacuum and mop that has impressive features for affordable prices. It has a strong 8,000 Pa suction power and a rotating brush that is ideal for carpets and hard floors and an excellent obstacle avoidance. It also features an innovative mopping system which utilizes a continuous roller dosed with water to pick dirt and place it in the dirty water tank.
Its navigation system performed well. It stayed clear of the stairs and was able to navigate close to walls without falling. However, it struggled with finely engrained debris and was not always able to get rid of raised thresholds for rooms. Its operating noise level is also high, which suggests it could be a less reliable set-and-forget model than others.
Like most robotic vacuums and mops the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that lets you refill its clean water and empty its dust bin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easier and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in line with the regular schedule. You can manage all of its functions using the Eufy app, which gives an easy overview and lots of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the best robot vacuums/mowers available, and it offers amazing mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. The LIDAR sensors for mapping can identify furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with decent accuracy. The app lets users fine-tune the map coverage, set up no-go zones, or alter the cleaning preferences. The main roller brush is also designed to stop hair from wrapping around it, which could be a big pain point with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too, with Reuleaux triangular mop pads that spin at 180 RPM and exert up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system also incorporates intelligent carpet detection, lifting the pads up when they're near soft surfaces, preventing them from contaminating them with.
The docking station acts as an automated maintenance center that automatically washes and dry the mops, and refills them with detergent and distilled water. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust over 7 weeks of hassle-free operation unlike conventional robot vacuums which empty their dust bins each time they need to be emptied.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars more than the S8 This robot is a slick job of keeping my office spotless and also tackle the corners of my tiny apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to create an outline of your area, so it knows where to stay away from. And, unlike many vacuums that can mop, it has object/obstacle detection that is able to avoid things like bowls and dog toys (but not poop!).
Other amazing features include a self emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing, adjustable to water temperature, and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also set cleaning schedules within the app and adjust the settings for each room of your home.
Like the S8, it has multi-room smart mapping and can differentiate between laminate flooring, carpets and hardwood rugs with high-pile. And, if you're looking to cut down on time, it can even skip cleaning rooms that aren't dirty. It's a great option when you have a mix of flooring in your home but don't want to spend the money to buy a Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking to find a multi-functional
robot vacuum uk vacuum and mop that is able to manage regular maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes, this robot is a good choice. It has a wide range of features including the ability to empty the dustbin on its own as well as a separate water refill dock, and customizable settings in the app. It is surprisingly quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. It can't pick tangled rug tassels up and its battery drains faster than other models we've tried.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that comes with a powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek design. It didn't do as well in our mopping and mopping tests like the expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra, but it still performed very well overall. It also offers a selection of cleaning options to meet your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' option for lightweight debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for rooms with carpet. It even has the ability to remove and reconnect mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for people who live in cramped areas. It's extremely silent and fast and can maneuver tight spaces with ease. It is also very good at removing pet hair from carpets.
It's smaller than its rivals, but doesn't sacrifice any features. It has good suction power and can be configured to take photos of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as 'not found' to ensure that they are not removed in future cleanings. The photos are secure, and not tied to you account.
It is great at vacuuming, but not so good in mopping. It uses disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bot's bottom, and then drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have reservoirs of water, and can automatically wash and attach their mophead.
