Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customised using an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save maps of your home, create cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also adjust the suction power, as well as how much water your mop uses.
A mapping feature aids your robot navigate through rooms and obstacles, while an obstacle avoidance function helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture or other pet toys. These are essential features for my home, which is filled with strewn-about toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, is packed with features. It's able to mop and sweep in a single session, and it can even lift its brushes and mop pads to stop soft surfaces from becoming damp. It can also stay clear of obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants, and other small objects.
The maximum suction power is 6,000 pascals. This is higher than any vacuum we've tested to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it becoming stuck on objects.
The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad that is more than 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also has an
best automatic vacuum cleaner mop lifting system, which will lift the pad as it moves from laminate to tile, hardwood to carpet and rugs to avoid soaking these types of soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. You can set it up and forget about it. It is only necessary to replenish the water tank or change the dust bag every now and then.
All this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop- and vac-settings for around 160 minutes before beginning to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids I've tested.
It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only drawback is that it's pricey. The number of features makes it a great choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. We would highly recommend this vacuum if you can justify its price.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combination. The high price is justified by its robust features, which include a massive vacuuming capability and two mop heads that rotate. It also comes with an app-enabled smart control system and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations out there at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it did very well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all floors and managing to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed well and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than mid-range models. This was due to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.
However, the L10S Ultra's real selling point is its advanced multi-functional docking station. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag that can be used for dirt, fills up the tank with water to use for mopping and even dries mop pads. It also features a real-time safety detection system and lets you schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its intelligent controls.
The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris when compared to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tried. Additionally it's not as efficient in removing stubborn stains as those found in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's numerous high-end features, it still requires regular maintenance and care. To avoid mildew and unpleasant odors, the base unit dustbag, water, and tanks need to be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. The mop pads sold separately also require changing regularly.
Given the L10S Ultra's premium cost and robust features I would recommend it to anyone with the budget for it. If you're on a budget I suggest a more basic model that lets you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's worth noting that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the
best automatic vacuum robot vacuum and mop you can find but its high cost and maintenance costs will ultimately make it more of a wish rather than a requirement.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the
robot vacuum cleaner best vacuum and mop that you require to tidy up mess and remove dirt from your floors. This powerful mop and robot vacuum combo comes with an impressive suction force of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery capacity for mopping and vacuuming, and top-notch obstacle-avoiding. It comes with a roller-mop that is self-cleaning which makes it stand out from other models that require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot, and it is supplied with a continuous supply of fresh water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. When it turns the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station, which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements and dumped into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard can hold a substantial amount of water and can handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.
As with most robotic vacuums and mop sets, the S1 Pro is ready to take it out from the box. It must be filled with clean water, however this is a simple task in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, should you prefer the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you decide to opt for this feature, you'll need to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your personal choice of cleaners.
As with most robots, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map a area and was able to navigate around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with thick piles several times during my tests. However it could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that has a lot of functionality at affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum, and it has some outstanding features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads as it goes. The mopping system can be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.
The app that runs the appliance is extensive, and provides many options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean the entire area mapped by this device or choose individual rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you've created. There are a number of mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the sensors of the mops to find the most efficient way to tidy your home as it maps the area.
Like all the Roborock models we've tested The Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system works well, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized way. The 'Normal" pathing option covers the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too, though it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot hazards such as thick carpets, but it may not always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels or electrical wires.
The one glaring flaw of this device is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option that could be a problem for those who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. There's a good solution: the app offers an option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. You can make use of the vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the last traces and dust that are left behind after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that lets this
automatic vacuum cleaner and mop to clean up a bit better than its less expensive competitors.
