Seats
Most 3 wheel double buggies begin life as single pushchairs, although some can be converted to take the seat of a second person or carrycot by converting adapters (these are more commonly found in tandem buggies). You'll also see that some models let you add a ride-on board to older children who would like to walk but require some help.
Check out the Joie Evalite Duo for an ultra-
lightweight 3 wheel pushchair option that is perfect for urban streets. It's a breeze to move and comes with a large basket that has plenty of storage space. It can accommodate twins from at birth and will accept two car seats, or a carrycot with seat. However, the seats need to be oriented forward and there's no room for a shopping bag underneath which is why you'll need a sidepack to do this.
If you're looking to go off-road then the Mountain Buggy Duet is a great choice. It's a side-by- tandem with the most compact footprint of any double buggy on the market. It's easier to maneuver through narrow doors on public transport, and to climb over and over kerbs. Suspension
The quality of the suspension in a
3 wheel all terrain pushchair-wheel double buggy is essential to how it is easy for you and your baby/s to push. It is essential to have a smooth ride because babies can feel every bump that comes along the road. This is particularly the case if you're driving on rough terrain, such as grass or unpaved roads. Some models also have locking front wheels to assist in maneuvering and navigating obstacles like curbs.
Some models have air-filled tyres that are ideal for all-terrain riding, but they are prone to punctures. Make sure you have an extra set of tyres in your trunk. Certain models come with gel-filled or foam-filled tyres that are designed to absorb bumps. They can be less likely to puncture, but they might be uncomfortable for your child should you decide to run.

The Urban Glide 2 is loaded with features as well, including a spacious basket with zip-top cover, large cushioned seat, 50+ UV hood and game changing visibility lights that are simple to use and recharge.
Folding
A three-wheel double buggy can fold very well for storage. There are options that fold flat and stand up (as though they were in the shape of a pushchair) and those that open to reveal a more umbrella-style folding with the option of a hand-operated break. In general, the more wheels a buggy has, the easier it will be to handle on rough terrain. This is particularly relevant if the wheels are larger than average. This will provide you with more stability and make it less likely that your child will tip or flip over.
A popular choice is the iCandy Wave, which can be used as early as birth with an infant car seat. It then converts to a side-by-side double buggy once your child is old enough for them to be seated next to each one. It's a light-feeling option, which makes it easy to push, and it comes with extra features, including a bumper bar and raincover.
Another alternative is the phil&teds sports, which is future proof because it's a fantastic single buggy from day one and can be adapted to accommodate 2 (or even three!) All of this is contained in its compact footprint. It features a clever 3-wheel design with an sling seat that provides better maneuverability, stability, and the ability to pop the kerb.
If you're looking to jog with your kids this is the ideal double buggies for jogging as it comes with a lockable swivel front wheel that can help you stay in control when tackling hilly or off-road tracks. Storage
One thing that people appreciate about a good
3 wheel stroller with car seat-wheel double buggy is its storage capabilities. Certain models, like the Roma Atlas offer a generously-sized basket, as well as two zip pockets inside the hood to keep keys and your phone easily accessible. It's also designed for dealing with a bit of rough terrain, so it's a great option for family walks or all-terrain strolls.
Other models, such as the UPPAbaby Vista 2, offer plenty of space and the possibility of transporting twins or two toddlers and a child. (This is made possible by their 'PiggyBack board'). It's the smallest side-by-side double available and it has some impressive tech including game-changing LED visibility lights on each side of the frame to improve safety in low light conditions.
For something different and unique, the Joie Evalite Duo is a light buggy that can hold twins from birth (it's open to the world and features a lie flat position). This allows you to have the best of both worlds.
