3 wheel stroller lightweight Wheel Pushchairs
All-terrain pushchair that provides lightweight durability and great maneuverability. The compact fold with one hand makes it simple to carry. It also stands on its own when folded. The padded seat reclines to a near-flat position, and there's an enormous storage bin and canopy. Baby-friendly? Yes with an additional carrycot.
A good suspension with air-filled tires will allow you to navigate the rough terrain. It's also suitable for jogging, but you should wait until your baby is at least six or nine months old for this.
Ickle Bubba XL Air
This light pushchair made by Ickle Bubba comes with a variety of features that parents will appreciate. The travel system comes with a carrycot that is flat for infants as well as a dual-position rear and forward facing seat for a pushchair.
The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to comprehend why it's received the highest praise from its customers. It is extremely light with the chassis and wheels weigh only 6.5kg. It's also very easy to assemble. In fact I was able to get the whole thing up and running in less than five minutes, which is amazing given that it included attaching the fabric for the carrycot!
It has a lovely wide, comfortable seat that was comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months) and the recline lever is easy to operate. The basket has plenty of space, and I find it nice that the handle bar comes with a pocket to keep your phone and keys secure.
The only downside is the handlebar is low, which can be a problem for taller parents. It's covered with soft, supple leather-like material, and is easy to wipe down.
Hauck Pushchair Runner
The Runner is designed for active parents who are eager to go outside and explore. Its large pneumatic wheels were designed to be used on field and forest trails, and the front wheel can be rotated and locked for additional versatility. It also comes with a cushioned 5-point safety harness and a front bar to ensure your child is safe on all trips while the parking brake is able to stop the stroller from moving while you take a break. The comfortable seat is simple to recline to a comfortable lying position, and the canopy opens up netting for optimum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be height-adjusted by more than 30cm to accommodate dad or mum's heights.
The Runner will accompany you on all your adventures whether it's a leisurely jog, a longer hike or a long-distance trek. It comes with a lay-flat seat with suspension air wheels for an easy ride. The front wheel can be locked for greater stability on narrow streets or overcrowded sidewalks. The stroller is also able to fold up to fit into car boot spaces or storage areas.
The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to navigate for some parents than its predecessor. Additionally, the locking system (requiring two buttons either side of the handlebar) is less user-friendly. The handlebar is higher than the ones of competitors', so it might not be suitable for parents with shorter arms, but overall this is an extremely sturdy and flexible stroller that's worth considering for active families.
Red Kite Push Me pacing
The Pace is a great option from Red Kite, an affordable British brand which is known for its simple and well-designed essentials for parenting. It's their newest and most expensive addition to their budget-friendly stroller line. Like the Ickle Bubba Aurora or Yoyo, it is car seat compatible so it can be used from birth.
The new Pace has some amazing design elements, like the rose gold hue to the chassis, hood and stroller trims that truly distinguish it from its rivals. The car seat and stroller fabrics are stylish in tan, grey and cream. You can also add the handle in leather and the bumper bar to complement.
The stroller seat can be used from birth to 22kg. It easily converts to a two-in-one reversible position, either parent-facing or world-facing. The stroller seat features several lie-back positions, plus softly padded legs rests and an extendable sun canopy with zip-off sections that are concealed and a transparent flap, and a retractable visor.
When folded when folded, the Pace measures 56 x 43cm x 32cm, which makes it suitable for hand luggage on Easyjet and Ryanair. It's also a breeze to fold, thanks to two buttons on the handlebar's opposite side which just click in and out. Then, it will pop up.
Bugaboo Fox 5
Designed to be the ultimate all-terrain pushchair, Bugaboo's new Fox 5 promises to do everything. Its unique chassis, coupled with a shorter wheel-distance, makes it more mobile than its predecessor. I put it to the test with my two children - a toddler and an eight-week-old - on rocky pavements as well as woodland walks that are grassy and even cobblestones.
The puncture-proof wheels are big in size - 22cm and a whopping 30cm - therefore they are able to handle many different terrains. They also come with a handy flap that opens or closes to allow more air in if you need it and is a nice addition. It's slightly larger than most pushchairs, yet it doesn't feel bulky or heavy when you push it over bumpy surfaces.
The fabric for the seat is machine washable and the faux leather frame and grips are easy to clean. It is also quieter than other pushchairs and I felt at ease using it in busy city streets. Another benefit is that it has integrated accessory points, meaning you can add footmuffs, parasols, changing bags, and even a tray for snacks. You can also use the hood to block rain and wind, though it's not waterproof. It's a single pram however, you can also attach their Comfort
3 wheeled buggies Board (not included) to give your child a bit of leg room. It took around 20 minutes to put together the bassinet, and a similar amount of time to convert it into the seat.
UPPAbaby Ridge
If you're taking a morning jog under the stars or a moonlit walk in the crisp air, the UPPAbaby Ridge transforms every moment into a fun experience for all. This all-terrain jogging stroller is designed for maximum performance to keep your child and you both active.
The huge 12" and 16" foam-filled tires provide a smooth ride, regardless of the terrain. The patented suspension system enables you to effortlessly glide across woodland paths while minimizing the impact on your child's rear and legs. And the reliable performance disc hand brake allows you to stop quickly, even while jogging downhill.
The Ridge is at home in all city scenes including bustling farmers' markets to the street musicians playing music. The large basket can accommodate all your essentials and market purchases, while the large canopy provides sun and wind protection. The large front canopy opens to reveal two mesh windows that allow you to observe your baby's surroundings.
The Ridge's reversible seat allows you to decide whether your child will face you or the world ahead and its easy foot brake system is easy for new parents. The reversible handlebar on the back is a wonderful feature that lets you adjust it according to your height. And unlike some jogging strollers The Ridge's fold is solid and self-standing when folded.
iCandy Core
iCandy's latest pushchair is truly revolutionary and comes with a host of features that are going to wow parents. It comes with a Multi-Mode Wheelbase and a groundbreaking LED Hub Light, which is an innovation for the industry. It has a built-in Ride-on Board which helps save on future costs, and allows tired toddlers to join the family when they go on excursions.
The Core can be purchased as a single or as a complete travel system and it is compatible with the most popular car seats made by brands such as Cybex, Maxi Cosi and Joie. It also has the biggest seat unit in the iCandy range, which means it will last your baby's first years and beyond. It's a luxuriously constructed pushchair, and it features premium knitted fabrics. The child's removable bumper bar and the handlebar that parents can adjust are made of soft leatherette. The calf support folds away is also very comfortable for children.
I was awed by how easy it was to fold and collapse - it only requires one hand, even with the seat unit on. It is also easy to fit into your hallway and boot making it ideal for travelling. The iCandy Core includes a variety of accessories, like an iCandy Core-branded changing rucksack and footmuff/liner.
