Best robot vacuum uk Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
If you're looking to clean up mess fast, a robot vacuum cleaner and mop is the best way to go. The top robot vacuums and mops I've tested are top-quality in navigation and mapping as well as the ability to remove Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds with out leaving them behind.
They're also user-friendly with an app that lets you plan cleaning tasks and track what they're doing.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the best
robot mop and vacuum combo. It comes with the most recent features. This premium vacuum is quick and agile, and it picked up human hair and pet hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It features a sleek and elegant app interface that comes with a mini-map of your home, as well as buttons on the screen for manual control.
Another noteworthy characteristic of the S8 is its ability to alter its cleaning mode according to dirt levels, thanks to its Dirt Detection technology. It will pause and clean its mopping pad more frequently when it encounters dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas to be mopped with a damp pad.
It comes with a range of other innovative features also, including an alternative dock that connects to the plumbing in your home to wash and clean the mop roller, without having refilling it manually. With the built-in voice assistant of the S8, you can use voice commands to set room cleaning modes and the ability to control granular settings using only your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking for a hands-free robot vacuum that can mop the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible alternatives. It's part of a litany of robot vacuums with mops, however it's priced at a lower price than most of the competition.
As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it started. This includes setting up an account on the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once you've done that, the robot will begin vacuuming and mopping easily.
It is important to note that the mapping process takes some time and may require a few attempts before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate image of your space. The object detection is also not perfect. It was able to skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but got stuck on a looser rug with tassels that it had to flip over to get it out of the way. But these are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube is still a excellent choice for those looking for an all-in-one cleaner.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping feature a rotating motion similar to hand scrubbing, which results in floors that are truly cleaned and not just cleaned. The vacuum stick that can be detached is a game changer that can reach areas where a robot vacuum cannot.
This model is basically the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with an a bit higher suction capacity of 8700Pa and other intelligent features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home's surroundings and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. And the smart app lets you adjust a variety of settings that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum and the mop returning to their charging station after each job to wash their pads and empty their dust bins and then place the debris in a self-sealing bag. This helps keep the system clean and stops allergens from circulating. The battery longevity is sufficient to cover large areas without requiring a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop that offers impressive features at a reasonable price. It has powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a moving floor brush for carpets and an excellent obstacle avoidance. It also has a unique mopping system, that uses a roller that is continuously filled with water to pick dirt and place it in the water that is dirty tank.
Its navigation technology performed well, navigating close to walls without crashing, and avoiding stairs. However, it struggled with finely engrained debris and didn't always clear raised room thresholds. The operating level of the sound is also high, so this model might not be as easy to set and forget as others.
Like many
robotic cleaner and mop vacuums and mop cleaners, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that lets you replenish its clean water and empty its dust bin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance simple and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to a regular schedule. Eufy's application lets you manage all of its functions. It gives you clear information and plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the most premium robot vacuums/mowers available, and it offers amazing mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with a decent accuracy, and the application lets users fine-tune the coverage of the map, define no-go zones, and modify cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush is designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it. This can be an issue with a lot of robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too it comes with Reuleaux triangular mops that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system also includes intelligent carpet detection, which lifts these pads upward when they're near soft surfaces, preventing them from contaminating them with.
The docking station acts as a hands-free maintenance centre that is able to wash and dry the mops, then refills them with detergent and distilled water. The base station comes with an integrated dust-processing system that compacts dust and allows for 7 weeks of maintenance free operation.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars cheaper than the S8 This robot does a bang-up job of keeping my office clean and can also tackle the corners of my tight apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to build an image of your space and knows where not to go. It has an object/obstacle detector that can block things like toys and dog bowls (but not the poop), unlike many vacuums.
It also has some outstanding highlights, such as an
automatic vacuum and mop emptying dustbin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can reach areas other mops miss. You can also set up cleaning schedules in the app and set custom settings for every room in your home.
Like the S8, it has multi-room smart mapping and can distinguish between laminate, carpets and hardwood flooring with high-pile rugs. And, if you're looking to cut down on time, it can skip cleaning rooms that aren't soiled. It's a great choice when you have a mix of flooring in your home and aren't looking to spend the extra money on the Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking for a flexible robot vacuum and mop that can handle regular maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes, this robot is an excellent choice. It comes with a variety of features including a self-emptying dustbin as well as a separate water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings in the app. It's extremely quiet and easily moves around furniture legs or socks. It can't pick tangled rug tassels up and its battery drains more quickly than other models we've test.
With a cost of less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and a handy automation into a slick design. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming however, it did very well. It comes with a variety of cleaning modes, from the low power 'Quiet mode which is suitable for small debris to the incredibly powerful Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It can even be programmed to automatically remove and reattach its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used in small areas. It's very quiet and fast, and it does a great job of maneuvering around tight spaces. It is also very good at removing pet hair off carpets.
It's smaller than the majority of its competitors however it doesn't sacrifice features. It has decent suction power and can be programmed to take photos of each object it chooses (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as "not found' to ensure that they are not taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure and aren't tied to your account.
It does a fantastic job of vaccuming, but it isn't quite as efficient at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that clip onto the bottom of the bot and drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
