It is crucial to keep in mind that this crib won't last as long after your baby turns six months. You'll need to buy a bigger cot. Overall, Roanna felt that the Joie Roomie Glide was a very good purchase and she was particularly impressed by its sleek design.
The Roomie Glide is available to purchase from John Lewis for PS160, which Roanna felt was a reasonable price for a cot featuring these advanced features. She liked the way it looked in her bedroom, and thought its gray color would be appropriate for the majority of modern homes. She did point out that it's not an ideal idea to rock a
baby bedside sleeper younger because it could create an unhealthy sleep pattern that can be difficult to overcome later.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic
This is one of Chicco's most expensive models, but it is packed with lots of features. It's designed to function as a side sleeper or a standalone crib, and is suitable from birth to six months. It is easy to open and close the side panel using the new mechanism. It's also more flexible than its predecessor, having 11 different height levels and retractable feet for a secure fit under any bed.
Our testers were impressed by the ease of access offered by the side panel, which can be moved upwards and down with a single push of a switch. This was particularly helpful at night, as they could reach inside and pick their baby up without waking them.
It is possible to lower the side panel by itself but this is not recommended since it increases the likelihood that your baby will get out of the cot. The patented safety locking system makes sure that the side panel will remain in place if it's properly attached to the parent's mattress. This is an excellent feature to have for peace of mind, particularly in the case of breastfeeding and frequent nighttime feedings.
The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to be a perfect fit for any bed that is divan-based as well as beds with drawers due to the telescopic legs. It also has an option to tilt for babies with reflux and a rocking mode that can soothe them back to sleep after feeding. It's also very large and has excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.
Our testers found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, though it comes with an extensive instruction manual. It's heavier than some of the other side-sleepers, however it's quite portable and can be moved from room to room easily. It can also be folded into a travel bag, which is a great option if you want to transport it. The only downside our testers found was that the side panel did not flex as much as some of the other models, making it a little harder to see your baby from your own bed.
