World of Warcraft - Item Upgrade
Item upgrades allow players to increase the level of equippable weapons and armor. This improves the stats and can also add buffs or rerolls an affix.
It is important to keep in mind that although you can upgrade magic and other common equipment, it's usually not worth the effort. Rare and exclusive equipment can quickly outperform the standard equipment and upgraded magic.
Cost
When a player upgrades an item, they must pay Gold for the upgrade. The cost of upgrading an item is contingent on its current level and the type of upgrade selected. Upgrades to weapons are usually cheaper than upgrades for armor since weapons have less requirements. The amount of Gold required for upgrading an item increases as the item is upgraded.
An upgraded item will also have improved stats, which could boost its performance in a variety of ways. This can include boosting its attack strength or critical strike chance. Additionally an upgraded item could be able to give additional bonuses to its equipped unit. These upgrades can be used to boost the overall strength of a group or a single unit, and may be a major influence on the gameplay.
The items can be upgraded at any NPC that is an upgrader in the game. These NPCs can be found in the major questing areas or capital cities. Players can also locate
item upgrader mod upgraders by visiting dungeons with high-level bosses and by chatting with NPCs in their garrisons for their faction.
The World of Warcraft
item upgrade system lets players improve the quality of their weapons, armor, and trinkets. This process is similar to reforging process used in Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor. However, instead of making use of currency, players will need to visit an upgrader for their item to complete the process.
Upgrades can be expensive especially for weapons and armor. Based on the upgrade path you choose, each item upgrade can cost Valorstones or Crests. The total cost could be very prohibitive for players who do not have the funds or aren't willing to grind them.
Fortunately the game allows players to reroll an upgraded item with a special tool in the items menu. This option allows you to exchange the upgraded item with a level 1 version of it with an additional set of bonus effects. This can be useful to improve the roll of items that have already been upgraded. However, it can be a waste of time.
Requirements
Upgrading is the process of increasing the item level of equippable items like trinkets, weapons, and armor. This can boost their effectiveness which makes them more powerful in combat. Players can upgrade gear by spending appropriate currencies at a NPC who sells upgrades for items. Players should be aware the fact that some upgrades require special requirements.
Early upgrades increase the effectiveness of the base item by one level. Later upgrades provide more significant enhancements. Upgrades from levels 3 to 6 will boost the weapon's damage plus two levels. A bonus stat will also be added to the upgraded item based on the level. This bonus is a combination of a guaranteed additional substat and a random statistic that will change in value from upgrade to upgrade.
Reroll Tokens can be used to reroll an item which has been upgraded. The new item will have an additional set of bonuses and a lower base item level. The rerolled item also has different requirements for strength and dexterity. It is important to note that the rerolled
item upgrader kit does not keep its original strength or any of its wasted resource.
Rerolling upgraded items is only possible if the item that was upgraded was an Epic Rare, Rare or Unique. Extraordinary items can also be rerolled, but the original stats are replaced by a flat-rate bonus. Rerolling a Rare or Epic item will result in a Normal version, and doing the same with the Epic version will result in an elite version.
Upgraded items may have additional adjustments that can boost their performance and improve their stats. These additional modifiers do not come with the upgrade cost. They can be obtained through questing, buying them on the Trading Post or from other players. Alternatively, they can be earned by completing certain missions in the game.
To
upgrade item an item of equipment, visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine. Depending on the type of item, you will require one or more Power Dices (Dice 6 is available from monsters 21+ and Giants; Dice 12 can be obtained from Bosses). You will also require different amounts of Minerals, Erons and Giants.
Time is a major factor.
Items upgrades can be used to improve the power of your ship and gear without having to level them. Although upgrading isn't cheap, it can be a good way to improve your stats without having spend a lot of time in battle. It's crucial to know the costs and benefits before investing your money or time.
Each upgrade boosts the stats of the item by a certain amount and gives the chance to obtain an additional substat. The extra substat is random, and can vary from a slight increase in one statistic to a much greater increase in another. It is recommended to concentrate on the top-performing items in your slot first, as they will provide a greater return for your investment.
You can check the amount of time needed to complete an upgrade when you open your inventory and select a weapon, ship or accessory. The upgrade window will display the progress and expected completion time. In some cases you might be able to speed up the upgrade by applying a Glyph.
Black Lion Salvage or Ascended Salvage sell a high-level salvage kit which allows you to retrieve all or a portion upgrade components. However, this does not include legendary equipment or upgrades, which can only be retrieved using an Upgrade Extractor or recovering them through the appropriate karma merchant.
Take advantage of the benefits
The upgrading of items rewards players with currency and a range of items. Each upgrade also has the chance to award an unspecified stat bonus. The amount of bonus awarded will vary for each upgrade, and it's generally higher for items that are rarer. The Great Vault can be searched by players to determine whether an item can be upgraded. The search can help determine whether the item is in a certain class and whether the player will benefit from a particular upgrade.
During the upgrade process, an item will gradually grow closer to the next level, however, it isn't always able to reach the full upgrade bar. This process uses Growthstones and Sollant however there is an 80% chance of obtaining a fully upgraded item in just one cycle. The higher the level an item attains the higher its boosted stat value and the more items it is able to upgrade to.
upgrade item components can be slotted into armor, weapons, and trinkets to provide an attribute benefit or an additional effect while the equipment is being used. Certain upgrade components come with cosmetic effects. Players can purchase upgrade components through crafting, buying from vendors, or at the Trading Post, looting, or obtaining rewards. Additionally players can retrieve upgraded items by using an Upgrade Extractor or salvaging them with a high-tier salvage kit. Glyphs that are positioned on gathering tools are able to be swapped.
By selecting the item and pressing the green button, which has an arrow that rerolls players can reroll it into another upgradeable item. This will change the layout of the game and let players select up to six items to be used for "recycling". The item that is recycled will be exchanged for an item at level 1 similar to it. Recycled items won't keep their status, nor will the resources used to upgrade them.
An item's maximum upgrade level is determined by its tier and quality. Rare items can be upgraded up to an maximum of level six, while Rare and Epic items can be upgraded to levels nine. Upgrades to items are added to the item's base statistics which means that they do not increase after a certain point.
