WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases item upgrade level by 3. Each upgrade also boosts an unspecified substat.

The more modernized gear generally has a greater value for trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or very high stat variation (like the eth titan weapons). Upgrades are not as valuable for those with lower requirements due to the requirement to roll an exact version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any type of armor or weapons. However, the Best item upgrader that is used to upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to the enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended to visit the upgrader once every couple of weeks to ensure that your equipment is up-to-date.

The cost of upgrades will depend on the current item level of the item being upgraded but they will always be less expensive than purchasing new equipment from other sources. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest up to 385 ilvl will cost you 20 recycle points. A similar item upgrade will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are functional items that can be used to level up weapons tools, armor, and accessories. They can be bought by players from item upgrader NPCs in exchange for various currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be used on any tool, weapon or armor. button, which will display an image of the item at its next upgrade level in the event that the player has enough materials.

The upgrade cost depends on the Best item upgrade slot and the current item level as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than gloves or bracers, for instance. Each step costs 15 Flightstones plus a set number of crests. Some upgrades give discounts on Flightstones. After an item has been upgraded to a certain amount, it can be downgraded and sold to the upgrader at a lower cost.

Crests

It's also essential to use crests with care, since they only have one use. It is recommended to use your Whelpling-rank Crests on the Best item upgrade gear that you can find and keep Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next set of upgrades. This is especially true for items like rings and trinkets that take up multiple slots on the character which will only be able to take advantage of the account-wide discount if all slots are full of high-quality gear.
