Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades to gear increase its base stats, and sometimes enhances its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations used.

For instance, the premium shield for racial discrimination Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradable than the perfect non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens are a way to reroll a purchased item like armor, weapon or rings. The item is swapped for another similar one and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable method of upgrading gear. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item and any resources wasted aren't refunded.

Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors via a variety of methods like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in chests and crates or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of the equipment that could include increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.

Players can roll equipment with three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack and spell power upgrade mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher-quality and requires an upgraded reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker for rerolling, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action areas, remains on the space until the next Success is being rerolled. This helps you save upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of each preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. Once they are open they will display a complete description and the icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's shop can exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and those that are located in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that boost the value of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The menu will be displayed showing the item's current level and what it will be when being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.

Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the item's rarity the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process is also safe and doesn't impact the item's durability. This is an excellent option for players who wish to get an edge in combat but don't want to spend a lot of money. Moreover players can transfer experience and the progress of an upgraded item upgrading onto a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are many ways to acquire these stones. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Additionally players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that lets you increase the stats of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It is achieved by combining an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume the upgrade components and grant the item an increased level, which gives the item an additional boost in that area. This process can continue until the item level upgrade is at its highest level.

Items with upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components cannot be stacked with one another, and can only be added to a single item at a time. Additionally each upgrade component will require a specific amount of items to be added and an initial amount for the equipment.

The upgrade item Station has two slots: the first is where players can put in equipment that needs that they wish to upgrade, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once the player has enough materials will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small percentage. The maximum level of an item is 19.

When an item level upgrade reaches its maximum level, its upgrades will not be available for it. Likewise, once a piece of gear reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that is able to be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons in order to provide an additional benefit or bonus when the equipment is in use. They can be bought through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs which can be removed and replaced freely.

Requirements

Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain attributes of weapons and armor they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on its type however, you'll usually require Dilithium along with a number Upgrade tokens.

Item upgrade components can be used to make set pieces or weapons to provide additional effects or to increase the item level. The upgrades can be acquired through a variety of sources in the game, including crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been added to an item, it can't be removed and changed without restriction, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped out without restriction.

Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can improve the stats of the item.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance to block. In addition the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.

Some items benefit from being upgraded not so much for their improved stats, but more for the fact that it allows players to gain the most value out of a perfect roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example is highly sought-after by the melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.

The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading the game will put the item level upgrade in your inventory, and the progress bar will update to show how close you are to completing it. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
