World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of certain numeric statistics on armor, weapons and rings. They also increase bonuses like crit chance and PvE damage.

For instance, a weapon with the upgrade template ending in % will take on an attack damage of 3% each time it is upgraded (relative to its previous value).

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases as the item's level rises.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be inserted into weapons, armor, and trinkets in order to provide an additional stat boost or effect while they're in use. They can be obtained through making crafts, buying from vendors or trading with other players, or looting. Some upgrades have special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can only be used on equipment with a slot. The item must be upgraded to blue level before a component can be applied. Upgrade components, unlike other mods can only be applied once. They are not able to be replaced or applied multiple times. Infusions and Enrichments are a type of upgrade component that can be used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and ascended equipment, as well as some non-ascended items. Infusions and enrichments are recovered by salvaging gear from the ascended, or completing an elite task in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade could include a suffix or prefix changing the name of the equipment with which it is used (for instancethe "Canthan Armor Insignia" becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase the Mark Level or Rarity of an item, which lets players create stronger versions with fewer Upgrade crystals than they require to reach the same level using normal methods.

A boost upgrade can alter the attack or defence characteristics of the weapon or armor. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated Crazed Mechanist the upgrades can be created at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades can be obtained by purchasing them from the cash shop or collecting them from enemies when upgrading other gear.

The player can have the maximum of five boost upgrades at one time. Each upgrade increases the chance that a better-quality version of the item will be available at the time of the next reset. This gives players an incentive to upgrade their equipment even in the event that they don't know what can be improved upon an update.

The boost upgrade may be successful or not, the process could be costly, and there is a significant possibility that the item will be obsolete or even break if it fails. A unsuccessful upgrade could ruin Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to reduce or eliminate the chance of failure. Some upgrades also give a bonus if reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade elements which can be put in special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs increase the power of nodes within a radius, which includes any existing attaches. Glyphs can be upgraded various ways, and we recommend upgrading them to 15 levels as soon as you can.

In the final game you'll find that the Best item upgrade way to improve your equipment is to use Glyphs. They are the only upgrade components which can be upgraded to level 15 and provide significant boosts to your power on the Paragon Board.

Most of the upgrades in the game can be replaced however Glyphs are the one upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without restrictions. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and re-placed using the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it from your inventory. You can replace it with a Glyph that is the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.

You can find Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of the Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain tools for gathering unlimited use and also through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt will drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs which you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

After you have acquired the desired Glyphs you'll require them to be placed on your equipment. Each Glyph will grant a distinct bonus that can boost a particular set of stat nodes within a radius around the Glyph. This will either be +40 for one of your primary stats or +25 for two of your secondary stats based on the Glyph.

Using a Glyph will boost all nodes that are linked to it, so you should aim to place your Glyphs close to key nodes on the Graph to maximize the impact. For instance, a Druid should aim to place their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes, however, you may also want to be sure to place them near the most critical damage nodes as well.

Leveling

The Item upgrade (Metalthrill1.bravejournal.net) system allows players to increase the power of certain items by inserting upgraded components. This is referred to as "upping". Every upgradeable item is assigned a level that determines the final stats. Upgraded items can be upgraded up to a maximum level of ilvl 385. Each level requires a different number of components and the cost of upgrading increase as the item is leveled up.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained by completing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes are available in the upgrade tab of a crafting table or bought from NPCs. Each completed Upgrade Recipe yields some Technology Points. These points can be used to level up the item. Once enough points have been earned, the upgrade will be claimed and its additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When the player upgrades an item to a higher level, the original item level upgrade is replaced with a different item level upgrade of the same type. This means that the same piece of armor will be transformed into an weapon or shield once upgraded. The new item also has its own set of bonuses. This could be a problem in that it could cause the item to become more expensive if you don't need it.

Item upgrades can sometimes be rerolled if the player has enough tokens in order to do this. The item will be replaced by an entirely new item that has a level 1 basis and totally different bonuses. This is a good option for certain items, but it shouldn't be done regularly, as it could waste lots of resources.

Some upgrades can be rerolled many times, increasing their value and allowing the player to customize their gear. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, since it grants buffs when the player repeatedly enters or leaves the water. It is possible to upgrade it several times, each time raising the maximum roll by a factor of 10. This item can be very valuable in PvP as an item that is properly rolled it could be worth between 20 and 50x its value without being upgraded.

Requirements

Item upgrading allows players to upgrade the level of their available equipment - weapons, armor, and trinkets above ilvl 385--by providing the appropriate items and currency to an item upgrader NPC. The failure rate increases the farther you exceed the maximum amount of upgrades. Failures can result in the item returning to its initial state, which requires the player to spend additional resources than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum number.

If an item does not upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. In addition, the item will lose any bonus it earned such as crit chance and attack damage, as well as any additional effects associated with that effect (for instance, a higher healing over time or speed of reload). However, the player can still continue to use the weapon or armor following the failure.

When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from the lowest to highest. This means that, when a weapon gains an increase in crit chance, the increase is applied prior to any increase in attack damage. A new attribute known as Slots has been added to the item definition and the value is computed each time an upgrade is made.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is based on its rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The cost for upgrading non-premium items is the same as the base value of the upgrade--for example, a common equipment item could have five upgrades at a cost of 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Opportunity. Hero grade items are less expensive per upgrade.

Premium items have different requirements for upgrading as compared to standard equipment, for instance, they might require fewer sowels, but they will require more minerals and erons. The player will still need to carry every piece of gear they want to upgrade to the NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each upgrade to equipment will require different amounts of ingredients for upgrading, in addition to the costs listed above.
