The i3+ EVO, unlike some of the other robot vacuums we tested has a self-emptying bin that automatically disposes of debris in an external dirt compartment located on its charging base once it's full. The i3+ EVO can be kept from overfilling thanks to a self-emptying container. However it still needs to be emptied manually at the end of each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO's inner dust bin holds 2.4L of waste and is enough to last several cleaning sessions before you have to replace it.

The i3+ EVO, just like the i7, utilizes state-of-the-art floor-tracking sensors that create maps. It also allows you to navigate through neat rows. However the i3+ EVO only stores a single map while the i7 has the capacity to store multiple maps. The i7 also has the ability to use its map to create no-go zones as well as virtual barriers, but the i3+ EVO can't.

Although the i3+ EVO is more effective at picking up debris on surfaces than the other robovacs we reviewed but it's not the best robovac for cleaning corners and edges. It is also less gentle on furniture, despite being fairly quiet. It was quite rough on furniture as it pushed chairs away. It also caused collisions with the sides of the bed.

2. Black & Decker Q5 Pro

If you're looking to increase your robot Vac vacuum collection or just starting out with the Q5 Pro is a great option. It packs a lot of power, smart vacuum navigation and easy automation into a sleek design at an affordable price. It's the most affordable model for the money available at the moment and is even better than the Roborock models that are more expensive in many ways.

This robot is excellent at cleaning floors that are bare and its avoidance technology helps it to steer clear of furniture legs or other obstacles. It also performs well on carpets and gets the top score in our navigation tests. The only drawback is that it's more raucous than the other models we test and doesn't perform as well in our owners satisfaction or predicted reliability tests.

The Q5 Pro comes with a large dust bin of 770ml, which means that you won't need to empty it as frequently as other 2-in-1 robots. Its 240-minute runtime is very generous compared to others we've tried. If the battery is low, it returns automatically to its dock, where it recharges and then resumes cleaning where it left off. You can manage the Q5 Pro via the app and use voice commands with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.

This is among the first robots we've seen incorporate 3D mapping. This along with other advancements, helped it perform exceptionally well in our tests for vacuuming and mopping tests. You can schedule cleanings and set up no-go zones. You can also view the battery's status. The app is simple to use, but it doesn't support Apple HomeKit which is scheduled to be added by 2025. As of early November, Apple has updated a footnote on its website to reflect that this feature is delayed until 2025. HomeKit is not compatible with other robots, but Siri Shortcuts are.

The TP-Link Tapo RV30 Plus robot vacuum cleaner is a great option if you're looking for a machine that can mop as well and is priced reasonably. It comes with a plethora of features for the price and has a chic design. You can control it with the buttons on the machine using the app, or even by using voice commands. The device has a long battery life and the vacuum container can be auto-emptied.

The TP-Link RV30 Plus does a very good job at cleaning up normal messes and is suitable for light mopping on hard floors. It comes with a sweeping brush replacement and mopping cloth as well with an HEPA-filter. It can be connected to an intelligent hub such as Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant to allow voice control. The TP-Link RV30 Plus is easy to install and can be connected to a wide range of flooring surfaces by using the automatic mode. This ensures that the optimal results are achieved in every room and floor.

The Eufy iMop is one of the top full-featured robot vacuum and mop combos for hard floors. It has a high-tech mapping system that can map your home across multiple floors. The well-designed base station almost fully automates the cleaning process. It is a great obstacle avoidance system and navigation.

This model uses an internal dToF LiDAR sensor to map your home and devise efficient cleaning routes. The iMop awed us with its assessment of the effectiveness of navigation and coverage and was good at getting around obstacles, such as furniture. It can also find its way to the base station in case it is unable to recharge its batteries during an exercise of cleaning.

It also has a spot cleaning mode that lets you to mop or clean the specific part of your floor. It can also be programmed to follow a fixed route, which is helpful if you have narrow hallways or stairs. It did a good job of cleaning carpets during our carpet cleaning test however it had a difficult time with longer pile carpets and rugs. It can be set up to lift the mop pad automatically when it comes into contact with carpet. This is a great option for those looking to avoid having to mop their carpets.

The iMop comes with an onboard dust bin as well as a water tank that it fills and refills at the end of each cleaning session.
