World of Warcraft Upgrades

Upgrades are parts that can be put into equipment to provide various bonuses. They range from stat boosts to increased proc chances of amazing effects on the equipment.

The item upgrade system works slightly differently than what you might be used to from other MMORPGs. This guide will go over the basics of how it functions as well as some tips and tricks.

Rerolling

The upgrade pity system that was introduced as part of the 2.6.0 gear rework, reduces the extreme variance of luck when upgrading. This means that players have a better chance of receiving the desired evolution item when spinning at a Pokestop or Gym.

You can roll an upgrade again by pressing the green button which has arrows circling. Rerolling is only available to upgrades that haven't been equipped by any device. It is not applicable to the item that the upgrade taken.
