Another disadvantage of a cadence sensor is that it only activates when the bike is in motion which could be a problem on rough terrain where the pedals may move with little or no force due to loose dirt or uneven ground. It also means the rider must wait for the motor to engage before they can accelerate, which is a problem if you are beginning from a standstill or descending.

3. Lean-To-Steer

If your child wants to speed up the journey to school or explore the neighborhood, they'll need to master the art of steering their scooter.
