Lever/Lever
A lever is a rigid bar pivoted around a point (known as a the fulcrum). When you apply force to the end, the fulcrum will move in the direction of the force is applied. This rotates the force and allows you to lift or move things that normally require more force to lift.
The distance between the fulcrum of the lever and the point at which you apply force determines the maximum movement. This is referred to as the mechanical advantage. The mechanical advantage increases as the lever gets extended. You can calculate the mechanical advantage by dividing distance from fulcrum point to the place where you are applying force by the distance between the fulcrum point and end of lever.
Levers can have a variety of effects based on the method by which the force is applied. A class 2 lever for instance is prone to rotating in the opposite direction when the effort force is applied. If you press on the door's handle, the forces will produce rotational effects similar to this.
However, levers don't create energy. They multiply the force by converting small amounts of effort applied over a long distance into greater amounts of force applied over smaller distances. This is what enables you to accomplish more in less time, and that is why levers are often used for lifting heavy objects or moving large quantities of cargo. The principle of the lever is also employed in everyday tools such as crowbars. hammer claws, fishing rods and your own legs, when you are standing on the hand brake of your vehicle.
Lever/Pad

They come in a variety of designs and finishes and can be used with a variety of materials including UPVC, Aluminium & Timber doors. They are sold in pairs for both the outside and the interior doors with screws and spindles included. They are available in unhanded and handed versions to suit different users.
These locks can be used to
replace upvc window handle existing doors made of upvc. They are typically operated by lifting up the levers to throw all of the multipoint locks, and turning the key to close or unlock. They offer a little more security than standard lever door handles since locking is only done through the inside with a key.
They are not as safe as a cylinder lock, but they are a cost-effective way to add extra security to your home. The only drawback is that they do not provide the same level protection as a cylinder lock, and therefore don't block access to the home if the door is left open.

Typically, they are designed to work with a 92mm lock, or the replacement version known as a Paddock lock. They will feature an 82mm cylinder centre on the inside and 62mm outside. They are also fitted with two spindle followers. Some come with the backplate in place, while others can be removed to accommodate different fixing centers.
Lever/Snib
Lever latches, the simplest of door handles are commonly used. Pressing down on the lever is a simple mechanism that opens inside the door to keep it closed, which can be locked using the use of a key. Some lever privacy handles operate based on this same principle but with the addition of the lock snib (like the doorknob).
A snib button can be very useful, especially for homes where it's crucial to maintain privacy or security. You can use the snib feature to stop your partner from entering until they are ready. This kind handle can also be used for doors in the interior, like those in bedrooms where you wish to restrict outside access.
In some instances the snib button can cause issues, especially if you have older locks and doors that are warped. If the snib button is accidentally pressed or by someone who isn't familiar with it, the door could shut and lock you out. It is possible to gain entry by knocking the door frame or the letterbox. But this isn't a good idea.

The system has been tested to 200,000 cycles to ensure long-term durability. The handles are constructed of solid metal and meet BS EN 1670 Grade 5 for resistance to corrosion.
Lever/Moveable Pad
This popular style of handle is typically used for front doors. It offers the benefit of preventing the door from being opened without the key from outside when the lock hasn't been deadlocked. This is accomplished by an external 'pad' handle that locks in the gap between the handles and the lock case to stop the latch from being withdrawn or the door opened.
This handle is designed to work with uPVC multipoint locks that employ split spindle mechanisms. This type of operation requires that the internal lever handle and external pad handle both be fitted to the same lock case. It could be a simple replacement of the current uPVC handle, but it could also require a new lock case or a new set of handles to handle furniture.
