A Lightweight Double Buggy For Families With Twins Or Closer Together
If you have twins or two children close in age, a double stroller could be a game changer. They are wider and have more seating options than
single to double pushchair strollers.
They don't need to be heavy or bulky. Some are slim and fold flat to make them more compact for fitting into tight spots or to move up and down the stairs.
Leclerc Influencer
At just 6.6 kg, this sleek stroller is light and compact, with an innovative auto-fold mechanism that takes just seconds to operate. It can be used from birth using the bassinet option (sold separately) and is approved by the cabin to be used in overhead bins on flights but it's recommended to consult with your airline's guidelines as they can differ. Jane is our mother of two testers, said the Influencer Air was easy to push and provided adequate stability. She also loves that the sun canopy can be adjusted to provide adequate coverage for taller children, and that it includes a cup holder for travel. There are additional accessories available, such as a transparent rain cover as well as a Teddy Footmuff which combines a cozy teddy sherpa lining and a water-resistant outer fabric for colder conditions.
The Leclerc Baby Influencer XL blows its competitors out of the water with its striking design, stunning colors and well-constructed frame and fabric materials. Its one-touch, super-quick folding mechanism allows it to fold and unfurl in only 1.5 seconds. This makes it perfect for everyday use as well as extended trips. It comes with a travel case to make it easy. It can be packed in your car or train or in the overhead compartment on the plane.
iCandy Orange
The iCandy Orange is a great option for parents with a budget who are looking for a light buggy that comes with a wide range of useful features. The iCandy Orange has an integrated ride-on board as well as an enormous basket. The risers that are available can be used to transform it into an a tandem.
It's easy to push, with a nice turning circle and a soft suspension that bounces lightly over bumps. It's also easy to move around, even if a toddler is sitting on the front wheels. It's more difficult to navigate over steep curbs as the weight shifts to the front when it's used in double mode, however this is true of most twin buggies.
The 2021 update has made the back wheels a bit smaller, making them easier to maneuver in tight areas, such as the entrances to shops, doors and public transport. The tyres are also very robust and come with treads that can handle mud and grass. It's easy to fold, as well - just open a clip in the vicinity of the back wheels and pull two levers towards the handle. When folded, it stands on its own. There's also a mesh sunscreen for the seat and carrycot that can be popped onto in mere seconds.
Joie Evalite Duo
The Joie Evalite Duo is a cheerful combination designed and engineered to make travel with two kids as easy as it can be. It's one of the lightest
twin pushchair from birth-strollers available on the market and is simple to ride, drive and load. The
Pushchair Double folds flat seamlessly with just one hand and then stands up by itself when not in use. It's also compatible with Joie's Gemm and iSnug baby seats (car seats sold separately) to create an entire travel system.
A downside is that the seat in the rear doesn't fully recline however, it's a minor flaw for an otherwise excellent double buggy. You can't add an extra board to the buggy, but this isn't unusual for side-by-side designs.
Overall, the Evalite is a lovely buggy that, with a few tweaks could become a perfect model. The seats are comfortable for children of all age and it's easy to drive. The handle is cushioned, so it's more comfortable to hold and the wheels are equipped with suspension to provide an easy ride. It is also very robust and comes with plenty of storage space. It's also a stylish pushchair, with a variety of eye-catching colour ways.

The handlebar is taller than most of the competition and therefore may not be suitable for smaller parents however it's an excellent option for those who have longer strides. The front wheels can be used to lock or rotate, which is great to steer on uneven terrain.
The only downside to this stroller is that it doesn't fold as compactly as some of the other models in our guide. The second seat must be removed to fold the stroller, which could be a problem if you need to store it in a vehicle or closet. It does, however, have one of the largest storage bins in our ranking, so it could remain a good fit for those who require a light double stroller for their children.

Graco SnugRide SnugLock
The Graco SnugRide SnugLock infant car seat is rear-facing only and comes with a base. It features a SnugLock arm, which acts as an enormous clamp that holds the seat belt. It requires only a small amount of force to close and can easily be closed by one hand. It is particularly suitable for parents and grandparents who suffer from disabilities or arthritis. It's an excellent alternative for those who prefer to install seatbelts but don't need LATCH.
This model is equipped with a variety of options, including a silent canopy and a harness that is not rethread. It can also be converted into a highchair and has a single-handed handle adjustment. The SnugRide SnugLock DLX is narrow at 17 inches, making it a good option for three-wheeled vehicles. It also comes with a load leg that limits rotation and absorbs crash forces.
The FAA has approved it for both international and domestic travel. It can be fitted without the base using standard belt routing or European routing (the seatbelt must be routed through the lap portion and not the shoulder section). It is also possible to install the carrier on the vehicle seat with the lower anchors or lockoff.
