Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuums and mops can be customised using an app that can save maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and select mopping options. They also allow you to alter suction power and fine tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.

A mapping function can help your robot navigate around rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles will stop it from running into wires, furniture, or stray toys. These features are crucial in my home that is filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, comes packed with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and raise its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also can avoid obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants, and other small objects.

The maximum suction power is 6,000 pascals. This is more than any robot vacuum we have test to date. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation to track its position, which prevents it from getting stuck on an object.

Mopping capabilities are also impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad for an intense clean. It also features an automatic hoover mop lifting mechanism, which lifts the pad when it transitions from tile to laminate or hardwood to carpet and rugs to avoid getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means that you can set it and forget it, only having to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.

This is all powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I ran it on its normal mop and vac settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and return to its base for a recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is at par other hybrids I've tested.

It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only drawback is that it's costly. Its sheer number of features makes it an appealing choice for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. We would highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. The premium price is justified by the robust features, including a large vacuuming capability, as well as two gyrating mop heads. It also comes with a smart, app-enabled controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop sets available, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed admirably across the house. It was able to remove 98.4 percent of debris from all types of floors and managed to lift long hair without getting caught up in. The mops were also excellent in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models due to their rotational motion as well as a strong dose of cleaning solution.

The docking station is the main selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The dock emptys its dust bin into a dirt bag, refills its water tank for the mopping function and even dries its mop pads for you. It also features an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and lets you schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its intelligent controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris when compared to the other hybrid mop I tried. The mops on the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station needs to be cleaned out, and the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, empty and dried regularly to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads which are purchased separately, will need to be replaced on a regular basis too.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey price tag and extensive functionality I would recommend it to anyone who has the funds for it. For those who are on a tighter budget, I suggest considering a more rudimentary model that allows you to save money while still enjoying the convenience of hands-free cleaning at your home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best automatic vacuum cleaner vacuum and robotic mop you could purchase but its cost and frequent maintenance will make it more of an item to have than one that you actually need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that will clean up dust and dirt on your hard floors while cleaning up wet mess, then you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop set-up has a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also has an enormous battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. And it is equipped with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It even comes with a roller mop that cleans itself while moving and makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-clean to wash off the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller is almost the entire length of the robot and it receives a constant supply of fresh, ozonated filtered water from the dock. While it spins the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements and dumped into a larger storage container. The tank onboard holds a good amount of water, and it can manage about a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do other robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro does need to be filled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, should you prefer the option of using your own brand of cleaner. However, if you do choose to use this feature, you'll need to purchase the brand-name cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit you to use your personal choice of cleaners.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map out a area and moved around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with thick piles several times during my tests. However this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers a lot of functionality at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum, but it still offers some impressive features. The dock's multi-function function is emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is done by the dock. The mopping system is capable of cleaning up a significant portion of an area before it has to return to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction is capable of picking up debris and pet hair from carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is complex, and offers many options for customizing the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start an entire map and take care to clean everything that is that the device maps, or you can choose particular rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've set up. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mop to map the area and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

Like all the Roborock models we've examined The Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system works well in locating rooms quickly and cleaning in an organized way. Its "Normal" pathing setting covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too however it's not as advanced as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify the dangers of carpets that are thick but it might not always recognize smaller things like rug tassels or electrical wires.

This device has a major flaw: it does not offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who regularly vacuum before using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This allows you to use the mopping feature of the vacuum to eliminate the last traces of dust and debris that are left behind by the vacuuming. This is a great feature that can help this robot keep its cleanness a bit higher than its cheaper competitors.
