Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized using an application that allows you to save your home's maps setting cleaning schedules, and select mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power, and how much water your mop consumes.

A mapping feature helps your robot navigate through rooms while an obstacle avoidance feature prevents it from running into wires, furniture or other pet toys. These are essential features for my home, which is filled with toys that are scattered about.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the company's flagship mop and vacuum, which is why it naturally comes with a host of features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and can even raise its brushes or mop pads so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also can detect and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to recognize pet toys plants, a variety of small objects.

The robot vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals which is more than any other robot vacuum we've tested to date. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad that is over 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also features an automatic vacuum and mop robot mop lifting system, which lifts the pad when it transitions from tile to laminate or hardwood to carpets and rugs to prevent soaking these types of soft surfaces.

In addition to this, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it and forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag occasionally.

All this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I ran it on its standard vac and mop settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and returned to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids that I've tested.

It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only downside is that it's costly. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very tempting choice for anyone looking to ditch their old stick vacuum and mop. We highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify its price.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum. The high price is justified by its robust features, which include a massive vacuuming capability, as well as two mop heads that gyrate. It comes with an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is among the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combinations available. In my tests, it performed admirably throughout the entire home. It was able to eliminate 98.4% debris on all kinds of floors and managed to lift hair that was long without getting caught up in. The mops also performed well, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational motion and an effective dose of cleaning solution.

The L10S Ultra's most significant highlight is its multi-functional docking station. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, fills its water tank to enable the mopping function and even dry its mop pads for you. It also features a real-time hazard detection system and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions with its intelligent controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer the best robot vacuum that mops performance in removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid mops I tested. Additionally, its mops aren't as capable at scrubbing away stubborn stains as those found in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features it still requires regular maintenance. To avoid mildew and unpleasant odors, the base unit dustbag, water and tanks must be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads which are purchased separately, will need to be replaced on a regular basis too.

With the L10S Ultra's high-end pricing and its extensive features, I would recommend it to anyone who has the budget for it. If you're on a budget, I would suggest an easier model that will allow you to save money while still enjoying hands-free cleaning at your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best robot mop and vacuum you could buy, its high price and ongoing maintenance will make it more of an option than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you need to clean up messes and get rid of dirt from your floors. This powerful robovac/mop set-up comes with a powerful suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a huge battery capacity that can be used for both mopping and vacuuming. It is also equipped with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It also comes with an automatic mop that cleans itself as it goes this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-clean in order to clean the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller is almost entire width of the robot and is continuously supplied with clean, ozonated water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Any dry debris is picked up with the side brushes or swept up into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements and dumped into a larger storage bin. The tank that is onboard can hold a good amount of water and take on up to a dozen mopping session before running out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do most robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro does need to be filled with clean water. This can be done using the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you do opt for this feature, you'll need to purchase the brand-name cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit you to use your personal cleaning products.

As with most robots that are available, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map a space and was able to navigate around furniture. It sat on carpets with larger piles several times during my tests. However it could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides a lot of functionality at a reasonable cost.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum. However, it has some outstanding features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks and washing and sanitizing mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system can sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is ideal for removing pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is quite extensive, and provides various options to customize the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start the full map and then clean of everything mapped by the device, or you can pick specific rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map out the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

Like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system works well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in an organized way. Its 'Normal' pathing setting does a great job of covering a space, with no major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective although it's not as advanced as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot the dangers of carpets that are thick however it won't always be able to detect smaller items such as rug tassels or electrical wires.

This machine has one major flaw: it does not include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum a lot before using their robot vacuum uk. Thankfully, there's an easy workaround: the app includes an option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. You can use the mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the last traces and dust that were left behind after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that can help this robot clean a little better than its cheaper competitors.
